Perfection!
They took the portable pedestal fan I grew up using and perfected it. Just the right look, weight, sound, functionality, power and overall quality. It’s worth every penny. We have pretty good central A/C in our home but in the Midwest with humidity sometimes you just need a little extra to avoid putting the A/C on blast. We have this in our bedroom which is on the 2nd floor. The first floor is plenty cool so we wouldn’t want to lower the A/C anymore. We have a ceiling fan but removed it for esthetics. This was a great compromise. I was looking around in the local stores but all I could find is plastic, ultra modern, robotic or ultra cheaply looking fans. Then there’s the Dyson which props to them for designing a nice price of modern engineering but it’s a little over engineered for a fan and the price reflects it.I found and bought this as a surprise for my wife and she absolutely loved it. She’s the decorator in the house so I was taking a calculated risk that paid off big. No more complaints from her about being too hot. As a matter of fact she asked if there was a lower setting because she thought it might be a little too chill for her. What?!This fan is smooth. I remember the fans we had growing up were jittery with a slight pausing in spots while oscillating. Then there was the infamous rattle from the vibration and the fan blades sometimes touching the grill. None of that here. Smooth transition from left to right and back again. Also, the fan blades are made of light weight metal so they’re sturdily attached with no vibration noise. All you hear is that satisfying white noise you want to just keep going all day.The grill is the only thing that’s chrome finished which to me is a perfect decision on the part of the designers because it’s the part you see the most. Chrome is not cheap so there’s no need to finish every part in chrome when you don’t “see” but the grill anyway. Our bedroom has gray accents, white comforter, headboard with chrome nailhead trim beading, chrome lighting and these lovely modern light color walls so the fan fits right in. The adjustments work just as designed keeping everything put. The 3 speed positions are indicated as embossed into the medal housing and not painted on. Love that. The knobs are all black non-painted plastic as to add a little contrast against the blushed Nickel medal. The weight is just right to keep it from moving around and rocking while oscillating. The plug is thick with three prongs/grounded. Everything about the construction and quality of this fan is well thought out. Never thought I’d be this excited about a fan ever.Like I said I grew up using these kinds of fans so I was no stranger to the assembly but for those who are new it’s level 2 out of 5 for assembly. Only difficult part is too remember to go against your instincts to use righty tighty lefty loosy when removing the blade holding knob. Do the opposite of what you’re use to when loosing and tighten. You’ll need a Phillips screw driver because it’s not packaged with tools. I used a magnetic electric driver for ease and speed. Follow instructions and you’ll have it together in less than 10 minutes.

Beautiful decorative floor fan
This is a beautiful fan. I am fond of this brand and have several of their novelty animal fans so when I needed a floor fan for the patio I knew they would offer a decorative one. It was more expensive than any of the others offered but it is worth it. It should be very easy to assemble, however I loosened one of the screw mechanisms too much and it came out along with the small piece that secured it inside the pole. I did manage to put it together but had to glue the part together. I immediately contacted the company and they promised to help me with a new part or replace the fan completely. After working with them I received a new base section of the pole and it is now perfect. They did not shirk their responsibility and owned the problem until it was fixed. Highly recommend this company.

Worked great for less than 1 year.
Looking through my old orders, I realized I have bought three of these fans since 2019. The last one in 2021. All three are now dead. They look great, they are sturdy, but the motors go dead as a doorknob way too soon for the price point. Despite how much I love the look of these, I need to have at least 5 years or longer to be competitive with similar brands for the price.

Decent Replacement for our Pelonis 16" stand-fan, chrome
This fan replaced a 4-yr old Pelonis 16" stand-fan (with a similar chrome/nickel base-and-pedestal). I would rate this one at a 4 out of 5 -- for the moment. The blades and center-cone appear to be well balanced, and at all 3 speeds there is no vibration (yet), which contributes to it's reasonably quiet operation, (considering the amount of air it moves), and I hope it stays that way. At mid-and-high speeds it moves a surprising amount of air, and once again, I am hoping it stays that way, too, (because it seems that after a while, most stand-fans lose power and speed). I will say that the chrome cage around the fan is the same low quality one found on much cheaper fans, -- (something that my old Pelonis was better on with, and which made regular cleaning easier). It bugs me that a cheap plastic ring holds the entire cage on this one, (instead of screws), and it can abruptly take the entire fan out of commission if it cracks or breaks, (which can happen if you accidentally bump the fan and it hits a wall or the the floor, or even because of regular disassembly for periodic cleaning over time)-- And good luck buying that little plastic ring. But time will tell, and since it pretty much runs 24/7 inside our air-conditioned home, usually a couple of months will reveal how it will hold up.If it helps, I wanted to replace our old Pelonis 16" with an identical one. But in the 4 or5 years since we bought it, Pelonis stopped manufacturing that model, so it is no longer available. So I opted for, and bought bought this new one, which is as close to the Pelonis 16" as we could find, and was about the same price, $109-ish), and it has so far "turned out to be a reasonable replacement".My overall feeling and opinion?: I would still rather have have an exact replacement for the old Pelonis, but yes, I would buy this one again.I will update this review if the fan speed slows down early, or if the bearings get noisy-- (which is what killed off all the other fans in the past).

I Like This Fan!
I checked out all of the pedestal fans on amazon and liked the looks of this fan. There were some very good reviews. Also, there were some not so good reviews. The negative reviews were so bad that I actually questioned their validity. I decided to take a chance and order this fan, hoping I would not regret the purchase. I received it on June 14, 2021. I assembled it in less than five minutes. I have used the fan at least 10 hours every day since delivery. It is lightweight, quiet, and there is an enormous air output on just the lowest speed. I am very pleased with this fan. After four months of daily use, I can safely say this is an extraordinary fan. I purchased a second fan for use in another room. I have had no problems of any kind with this fan. If you are hesitant like I was, my suggestion is to just give it a try.
