Samsung Galaxy S8 Clear Protective Cover, Silver

I like several aspects of this case. It is ultra slim and form fitting for the sleek Galaxy S8. The side panels are cut away for the ports and buttons, so you actually press the buttons directly. It affords very good scratch protection for the back and the majority of the sides, while also providing better grip for what is a pretty slippery piece of gear. On the downside, it only provides a minor amount of drop resistance as the edges are not well padded. If you are looking for the sleekest, form fitting case with a bit more grip, this is the one. Thus 5 stars. Personally, I opted for an i-Blasson case because I wanted to add more protection without adding too much bulk. It's not as pretty nor as light as the Samsung cover though. I do occasionally alternate between the 2 covers.

Good protection for the back of the phone. Does not compromise the slick look of the phone. It doesn't provide much cover for the screen. I pair it with a tempered glass protector and it has worked for me for the past 6 months.

I have both clear (for my wife) and navy for myself and couldn't be happier. It might not save your phone from drops but surely will save from minor scratches etc. Very sleek and happy to have it.

Honestly, this case is very minimal. Dropped the Phone with the case on, phone screen cracked. The material that is used is A. Too hard which makes it Slippery and also brittle, and B. not quality. The case does look very nice and the design elements are attractive. -Jesse K

Light weight, does not make the phone thick and bulky; and fits my pocket perfectly. Looks great too. I made the right choice.

Good but needs frequent cleaning.

I've had this case on my phone for a while now. It's developed some tears/cracks but has otherwise done what it's supposed to to. Fits tight without taking away from the device itself.

This is a minimalist case by design. It's intended to preserve as much of the esthetic as possible while still protecting your phone. As a minimalist case, it's 5 stars. Don't downgrade it simply because other cases offer more protection. If you want a case that's absolutely bombproof and you don't mind big, ugly, heavy, and hard to use, then go get a Lifeproof or Otterbox instead. It's an apples-to-oranges comparison.
