I've used all manner of ceramic coatings, from the most expensive premium brand to the ultra-budget. This performs exactly the same as a premium brand ceramic coating (naming no names)- 3 months after application, water still beads like a beading thing. It does need careful prep though- clay bar, IPA wipedown, enough time to haze before buffing. Really easy to apply, great finish but the applicator, as other reviews say, is far too small. Save your money on the expensive brands and go for this stuff, it's just as good

I’ve read quite a few negative comments, so wanted to put some balance on from my view having used it today. The packaging that this comes in is cheap and feels cheap. The applicator is a bit too small for my hands, which are normal size, however, the coating itself is good, and certainly good value for money. I have ceramic coated my cars several times over the last few years, and whilst the packaging and applicator aren’t great, the coating itself is decent - I have used various ceramic coatings and this stacks up fine. Is it the best? No, but what would you expect for the price..? Is it great value for £10.. yes, very much so. Goes on easily, can cover fine scratches and stone chips, buffs off to a good finish, a bargain for the price. Too many people don’t do the prep work properly, like clay bar and decontaminate the paint work before going on with ceramic coating, which is why prep work is vital. I’d buy again, but would advise getting a bigger applicator.

Doesn't work, leaves a poor dull finish that's peels. Waste of my time as have to remove this product and my money.

⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ For the price (£10), this ceramic coating isn’t bad at all – but it’s important to note it doesn’t behave quite like a proper ceramic coating. I did a test on my car: on the left side I applied a ceramic wax, and on the right side this coating. Both show hydrophobic properties, but the difference is clear. The wax produces tight, circular, and very uniform water beads, giving the surface a much slicker feel. This coating does bead water, but the beads are less circular and less uniform, so the slickness just isn’t the same meaning doesn't last as long and dirt sticks to the car longer. I haven’t tested durability yet, but based on performance so far, I’d personally recommend going with a ceramic wax and reapplying every couple of months for a better finish. That said, for £10 this is still a decent budget option if you want some quick hydrophobic protection without breaking the bank.

I didn't expect this to work but decided to test it on a 32 year old mx5 with original paint. The paint would polish up to jet black but within days would fade to a satin finish on some panels. I applied this coating last April after compounding the car. It's been outside ever since and hasn't faded. Very happy with the product!

I bought this to ceramic coat my composite granite sink. Was tired of it looking faded, but nice when wet. A coating of this stuff has given it that same shine when wet, but actually stays looking nice

This was my first attempt at ceramic coating. Car had 16 miles on it so the paint prep was very easy. First I washed the car with diluted dawn and a microfiber sponge. Next used a clay bar while the car was wet. Rinsed again and dried it. I then removed any water spots. Next took the included applicator and wrapped it with the cloth and taped it on the back. (Use the soft spongey side as the applicator). I applied 4 dots on the first application. The rest I used 2 dots. Each panel was wiped with IPA (rubbing alcohol) before application. I did cross swipes and 1 panel a time. I let it sit 2 to 3 mins. ( Im in Florida and it was 80 degrees) I then used a soft microfiber buffing towel to wipe it off and buff. I continued this process on the whole car. First application took 2hrs. I then went over the whole car again minus the IPA. I did the lights, chrome trim and painted surfaces. I did not apply it to the glass, wheels or plastic trim. I ended up with 3 coats on the front, 4 on the mirrors and door handles and 2 on the rest. This took another 2 hrs. I let it sit for another hr or so then tested with water. It beaded right off. It did rain 15 hrs later. The rain water beaded off and only left 2 spots on the whole car on a flat part of the hood!! Amazing results. The surface is slick and shines great and looks freshly detailed even after the rain. I say it's def worth the $10. Much easier to wipe off then a wax when applying. Prep is key as well as WAITING to test the surface. Durability will have to be tested. I will update after its been a few weeks. Very impressed so far and I did a mid size suv and I have more then 3/4 of a bottle left. The applicator did not fall apart and I have one more cloth left to use.
