Q: Do i need a new flywheel for the predator 212?

Yes this requires a flywheel with magnets on the inside of the flywheel. I installed it with this kit: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NPLJQMV?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details and then putting a motorcycle battery in as well. But as a warning, I have yet to get it working properly.

Q: Do I need anything else to just run lights off predator 212 motor

You will also need a flywheel that has the magnets on the inside not just one mounted on outside for coil. (side note) If you have the plain 212 pred their not expensive , if you have the hemi cost more. They are NOT interchangable ! (crankshaft size difference)...You can tell the differance between the 2 models , reg 212 has stamped steel valve cover , hemi has the alum cast valve cover . These coils work for both engines . Hope this helps , I learned the hard way . Also if putting a starter on you need flywheel with outer ring gear for starter engagement . good day.

It's only works it you have a voltage converter for it and then you can run that to the battery but double check to make sure all the wires are connected right
