Revlon Rubberized Double Grip Black Hair Clips, 6 count

These are the only clips I have ever found that tightly holds hair. Me and my 3 teen girls have been using this brand for more than 10 years. My girls have hair ranging from wildly curly, to thick and wavy, to thin wispy & these clips hold them all. I work in health care & keep my short hair tightly pulled back & these clips hold around my small pony even though I pull face masks on & off repeatedly throughout the day. The quality is soooo worth it. The rubbery silicon pads snuggly grip hair in place without excessive pulling or sticking. The thin, yet sturdy metal keeps its springy shape & doesn't warp. The clips use to have more of a glossy finish, but they now have a nice matte finish who I prefer. The only negative I have noticed is that the paint will wear and scratch off over time, but this is bound to happen with overuse (we just use those fully functional clips hidden under buns/ponys). We have clips that are more than 10 years old that still work great. I have strayed a few times to cheaper brands (see my photos) both online & in store and have been dissapointed every time. I pride myself on getting great deals & the value of these clips is definitely worth the cost. As long as the high quality persists, these Revlon clips are the only ones we will use.

I LOVE THESE CLIPS! I had bought a package somewhere probably Walmart one time and fell in love with these clips. They hold good and a lot of hair, more than the usual single clips. These clips are amazing they have litter rubber grips on the underside to grip better and have and nice black enamel which blends well in to my black on black wardrobe. Lol. I finally was down to one pair from my original set and had been clinging to them for dear life for about a year now because I couldn’t find in any of the stores here. Then one day alas I lost them. Heart break, no really. My boyfriend had moved them and he couldn’t remember where… ahhhhh. And like a typical teenager his son was like why don’t you just buy some more on amazon, since I buy everything on there anyways … DOH!!!! Why didn’t I think of that?! So here we are amazon! If you are reading this wonder IF don’t just BUY. I promise you won’t be sorry. Pros: Durable Rubber grip on underside Cons: None yet I do quite a bit of my shopping online, particularly at Amazon, so like you I depend on reviews to be honest so I can make an informed decision. These work great on thin hair. I have a hard time finding things that will hold my hair in place because I have thinner hair and things just seem to slide. These clips hold and stay in place. They are easy to use, and the size is just perfect, so they don't stand out much at all.

These are the best hair clips. The only ones that hold tight and those pesky stray hairs can't escape and tickle the side of my face. The little clear gel dots have never come off. The only thing I ask for is more colors and sizes with these great gel dots!

They start out feeling strong enough to hold hair in place, but in a couple hours they seem to lose grip. The little "dots" of rubber on the prongs help hold at first, but not after the dots fall off, which they mostly all do. The best "dots" seem to be brown rather than black and appear larger than the black dots and seem to hold hair a bit longer than the others, and last longer too. I would like to see larger brown dots on the prongs to enable them to hold hair better. Even better, I would like to see a larger set of clips as these have fairly short prongs and don't clamp enough hair at a time.

These are a nice size, even though I was hoping for smaller. They are 1 3/4 inch x 3/4 inch at the widest part. They hold well for fine, thin hair. I was looking for a smaller clip of this style and design. If anyone finds one 1 1/2inch by 1/2 inch, I would love to know about them, any color acceptable. The purple one is the smaller one I am still looking for. I would purchase these again; I wish they had more color options. The one I purchased has the rubber dots for extra hold. If you are careful, they have not pulled out any hair.

I am so happy to find such a simple product that is designed so well! I know, it’s a barrette/hair clip, but it’s so helpful. I have very long, fine hair, a lot of it, down to mid back. My hair usually gets caught when I pull any barrette out and I feel that little snap as a few hairs break. Not so with this one. It’s versatile, you can use it in many different ways from a simple little upsweep on one side to holding larger pieces of hair for an elegant updo. Something about the prongs on the back give it a soft flexibility that is just perfect and really holds even my heavy hair perfectly, curving against my head and hair without letting the weight of my hair pull it out. That being said, even a very short Bob or pixie cut could use these. Cheers to simple little products like that that helps make life simpler!

These clips are they best I’ve tried for my fine, aging hair. I just ordered 5 more packs on a recent promo. I had to settle for black, but really wanted some kind of brown. I can live with black for now. The new clips work just as well as the old clips that I’m always misplacing. The difference between this and cheaper clips is the grippy dots, maybe silicone or rubber, which stop the hair from slipping through. Also, the bottom side is wider, made of three sections the manufacturer calls “comb teeth.” If you have very fine hair like mine, I highly recommend these for you. They probably work just as well in “normal” hair, but maybe not very thick hair. I don’t know for sure, but they come with free Prime shipping, with free returns. You can try and return if not for you. I would recommend you take them off the card neatly (vs. tearing it) just in case you need to return them. The top and bottom clips are easiest to remove neatly.

These have become my favourite hair clips. I love how the rubber holds them in place. I actually gave a set to a friend to show her how nice they are. Thanks!

Comprei para experimentar, pois na época custava cerca de 6 reais. Devia ter comprado um estoque, agora está bem mais cara e essas presilhas são excelentes! Seguram super bem até os cabelos mais finos. é importante ter cuidado na hora de colocar apenas para não ficar puxando muito o cabelo e incomodar. A qualidade também é surpreendente. Uso há muito mais de 6 meses e está como nova até hoje.

Prendedores maravilhosos, macios, confortáveis e prende como nenhum outro. Meu cabelo é curto e fino, usei para atividade física e ficou intacto! Estou apaixonada!!!

The hair clip work great. a nice tension design means the clips snap into place without needing a to fumble getting the a clasp to fit into a bracket and pinching my hair. It grabs my hair and keeps wear it is supposed to be. Definitely a good deal.
