Walensee 24 Inch Compost Spreader

Upon delivery, I was delighted to find the item in excellent condition, easily assembled without tools due to the accompanying installation brackets and hardware. Using the spreader to spread compost over new grass seed, I was more than satisfied with its performance. Though it was not able to perform optimally due to the excess moisture of the compost, it did the job well, capturing any small roots and rocks. Furthermore, I feel confident it would be a perfect tool for spreading loam over a lawn or garden as well. It seems well made, and all in all, I am thoroughly pleased with the product and am sure it will serve me for many years to come.

4 stars because the lid is hard to close and gets stuck when trying to open it. It keeps bending and I have to bend it back into place. Seems to be good quality beyond that, handle is sturdy and it filters out the rocks and sticks that I don't want.

Durable, sturdy and rust resistant, Works like a charm! Sometimes basic technology is the best. I would recommend this item.

If you are looking for an easy-to-use garden tool for spreading soil and peat moss, look no further. I used this extensively to reseed my back yard, and it saved me loads of time. Spreading is even and it's well built. Assembly is a bit of a struggle as you have to line everything up, but not a big deal. Only complaint is the 3 snaps have small hooks that sometimes get caught when you're fastening the other two. The clips could be a bit larger and perhaps have slightly less give to keep them extended rather than collapse into the space between the swing-out door and the closure.

This takes about the same amount of time as spreading it manually, but does it much more uniformly. As a result, plan on using more peat moss than you did spreading it with a shovel. The real work is handling the bales of peat moss, so find yourself a healthy teenage neighbor. Well constructed with snaps on the sides that won't get beaten up as the drum rolls through the dirt. The one drawback is It won't work well on an incline since the peat moss will move to the low end.

Liked the fact it is sturdy .. well made & the gate is secured & won’t just flip open .. also I like the handle … It rolls easy .. spreads nicely .. takes up space in garage but worth the effort .. I spray the ends of the rollers with WD40 after each use & clean with the garden hose ….

Easy to put together. Used to put out 25 bags of peat moss. Held up well.

Verbogen, verbeult, Netzgitter ausgerissen .. Einzigst Positive ist die Bereitschaft vom Hersteller, dass defekte Produkt aus auszutauschen. Leider kam das Ersatzgerät ebenfalls defekt an. Preis Leistung stimmen hier definitiv nicht.

L'ha usato mio marito nel giardino... Avevamo visto il prodotto un15 giorni prima a 175euro invece nn è arrivato,perché anno visto che il prezzo non era compatibile con l attrezzo,quindi siamo stati rimborsati ed il prodotto è stato tolto per 2 giorni dal commercio su qualsiasi sito,poi è tornato con un il prezzo quasi al doppio 320euro..e ovviamente siccome serviva, abbiamo effettuato un altro pagamento....però mio marito è rimasto soddisfatto...quindi che dire,anche se è un po caro,è molto utile per hi fa giardinaggio...è un attrezzo che non può mancare

suggestion. there should be a tarp that fits over the barrel to compact as the last step. Seed contact withsoil is key!
