Very nice case. It looks pretty, it's held up well over the months I've had it and the plastic hasn't yellowed! It fits my 14 inch Macbook Pro well, and attaches easily and holds on without issue. It has survived falls and dings with minor scratches and has done it's job well!

After dropping my MacBook once and freaking out despite it being fine, I decided adding some shock protection would be a wise investment. Pros: - Installs easily and fits perfectly. - Case is thick and soft enough to provide both actual and psychological safety (I'm not gonna drop test it, but it looks and feels like it'll do the intended job). - Opens and closes as normal when installed and all ports easily accessible. - Looks great. - Still fits into my small TomToc laptop sling. - Material and vent slits in the bottom make the MacBook easier to grip and pull out of my bag and less likely to slip out of my hands. Cons: - Adds thickness and noticeable extra weight, but this is a pro if you want to provide actual drop protection. - Clear rubbery material is the kind that sometimes yellows with time. I'll come back and edit this review later if that happens. - Quite expensive for what it is (should cost less than $20), but at least it's nice! If you're wondering about the collapsible laptop stand in my photos, that is highly recommended as well for traveling road warriors. Amazing case. Makes your MacBook look great. It really protects it. It stays on and I’ve had mine for some years and it has barely turned yellow, it has kept its clearness really well. Overall recommend.

I was worried about the higher cost of this case compared to standard plastic cases but this is really good quality. The black translucent is a true description, it's packaged really nicely in a box with protective film on either side so you can skip the dusting off portion. The instructions are easy so you can also skip the part of guessing which corner to which section. Putting on the top cover is a suction fit so I had to play around a little to get the top corners in without applying too much force on the screen. The edges are guarded for additional drop proof and the case seems a lot thicker and sturdier build than the usual snap on cases.

I bought this case for my Macbook Pro and I am very pleased with its quality and appearance. The case is made of durable material and fits snugly on the laptop. It also has a sleek design and a nice color that complements the Macbook. However, there are some drawbacks to using this case. One is that it adds some noticeable weight to the computer, which makes it less portable and comfortable to carry around. Another is that it affects the balance of the Macbook's hinge, which is finely tuned for its original weight. This means that the hinge is more likely to move by itself when the laptop is tilted or bumped. This can be annoying and have some potential effects long term, we'll see. Therefore, I would recommend this case to anyone who values protection and aesthetics over portability and convenience.

REALLY easy to install even though I was afraid it cracked or didn't fit, but that was not the case, it is PERFECT. I have a Macbook Pro 14' and with the case it opens/closes without any trouble. I have to admit that the overall weight increases considerably. I still believe is a great way to protect my laptop, with reinforced corners, easy to clean and the fingerprints don't stay! I hope that with time the clear color doesn't turn yellow, but I will see.

The first few days after getting my MacBook, I found myself worrying about scratching or scuffing it every time I’d pull it out of my backpack. I needed a case asap. I noticed all the other options had one major issue: the whole lower portion was not securely attached to the laptop. After sifting through all those options, I came to this beauty. I decided to give it a try because of all the other great reviews, and I’m glad I did because this case is perfect. Fit: This fits the MacBook Pro like a glove. It hasn’t moved since I put it on. There are thicker bumpers on all the corners for when your laptop is in a high speed collision, which are great and sit perfectly flush with the edges of the laptop (as seen in the close up shots). Appearance: I’ve had it for about a month now, and I use my laptop all day everyday. In an office setting, at coffee shops, etc. and I haven’t noticed any major scratches or blemishes yet. This thing is super reflective and a fingerprint magnet. First picture is how it looked when I pulled it out of my backpack, the rest are after a quick wipe down. Because it’s a transparent case, you’ll see any dust and other gunk that finds its way under the case but this hasn’t been a major issue for me. Weight: This case is relatively heavy, which might be a negative for some folks but I think it makes it feel that much more secure. In terms of the laptop closing under the weight of the case mentioned in other reviews: I’ve got a picture showing the furthest that I can shut the laptop before it slowly closes under the additional weight. This hasn’t been an issue for me because I’m a normal person and don’t find that the ideal angle for viewing my screen. Other: the bottom portion of the case has its own rubber grippy feet things (pictured), which was a bonus I wasn’t expecting. This means the original rubber feet grips on the laptop won’t get worn out while you’ve got this case on. Overall: I recommend this case for anyone that wants to protect their obscenely expensive laptop.
