Solid DSLR gimbal from FeiyuTech
For a novice content creator, the value of a gimbal isn't immediately apparent as would be a new camera, microphone or light. It's the kind of device that you really have to mess around with to figure out all it can do--particularly all it can do relevant to your specific needs. The problem historically has been that gimbals have been so expensive that they don't really lend themselves to experimentation.FeiyuTech specializes in image stabilization technology. Curiously, just a few weeks after I received this gimbal Feiyu released a new model of the SCORP (SCORP 2) as well as the entry level SCORP Mini (SCORP Mini 2). It's made the product line a bit confusing at the moment. Previously it was the Mini, the SCORP and the SCORP Pro. Now it appears that the SCORP 2 will be the top of the line with this gimbal second tier.I've used the SCORP Mini since it was first released and it has bene excellent. One great thing about the SCORP Mini is as much thought has been put into the user experience and form factor design as the stabilization technology. This is one of the reasons that of the major brand entry level gimbals on the market, the SCORP Mini is the most fun to just pick up and use. To be sure, any gimbal is going to have a 'learning curve' for someone not familiar with them but the SCORP Mini feels welcoming to newcomers. For some of the other 'big brands' in this space, a newcomer feels more like he's taking a test in a class he didn't study for than anything else. The SCORP offers a similarly intuitive user interface. Once again, there's definitely a learning curve for any gimbal but IMO Feiyu makes it as easy as possible for a user to dive in and get to work. One major difference between the SCORP and SCORP Mini--the Mini works with just about anything while the SCORP is made for mirrorless and DSLR cameras. It is definitely a more robust and full featured gimbal. It's significantly larger and heavier than the Mini, not in a bad way but it feels much more substantial and 'professional'.Ultimately, your choice of a Feiyu gimbal depends on how you plan to use it and what you want to use it with. I'll preface this by saying that I've yet to test out the new iterations (the SCORP 2 and Mini 2). Obviously, this makes deciding which gimbal you want to buy out of the Feiyu line more complex. From what I've seen, the SCORP 2 adds some AI tracking features, an upgraded quick release system and a remote control. The SCORP Mini 2 adds native compatibility with GoPro and other action cams (something long overdue). This is not a slight on the SCORP--it remains a very servicable and solid product. At this point, I'd suggest that it is best for an experienced DSLR user. For me at least, it's tough to get past the reality that it was released in 2021 and given the growth of AI that's eons ago. Also worth factoring in the price point--the price of the SCORP has dropped significantly and that makes it arguably the best value gimbal on the market for DSLR/mirrorless cameras. Highly recommended!

Quality Gimbal, Excellent Stabilization
This is a nice-quality gimbal that offers many useful features and settings.. I am pretty familiar with FeiyuTech gimbals having owned one designed for my GoPro plus the G6Max that works great for my point and shoot cameras. This one weighs 2.68 pounds plus the weight of the camera, (up to 5.5 pounds) with a maximum overall weight of about 8 pounds which is very manageable when filming. It comes with a sturdy hard-shell case that makes all components easy to find.Balancing the gimbal doesn't take too long but does involve a number of steps. I followed the online video the first few times and have to say it was needlessly confusing at first. Feiyu needs to work on improving the clarity of the directions. I don't normally leave my camera on a gimbal so if I pack it away and then pull it out to use at a future date, of course I'll need to balance it again. Feiyu has made the process easier by providing small red-dot slider markers on each arm. If I position the dots to the alignment holes on each arm, and use the exact same camera, lens and zoom setting, the balancing set-up goes is pretty quick. The gimbal works great. There are several very useful mode I can choose from including panorama, time-lapse, vertical and space mode, (which rotates the camera for a special effect.) The directions and online videos explain the various modes in detail. The gimbal works great at stabilizing my camera and produces clear shots without shake. I'll need to practice a little to become better at using the buttons, knobs and joystick but I found they all worked smoothly.Bottom Line: This is a nicely-constructed gimbal that works well. Check the camera compatibility chart before purchase and weight limit with lens is 5.5 pounds. Battery life is decent, the 1.3" touch screen on the back arm is easy to see and use and built into the hand grip are two flip-down legs for tabletop use. Online video directions for balancing need improved and it may require a little practice to master the various knobs/buttons.

No sirve para canon R5c
El gimbal es mut pequeño para usar con las camaras canon r5c. Recomiendo pensar en uno mas grande

Great gimbal if you know what you're doing. Product support is garbage.
I am using this gimbal with great success, but it took some fidgeting to get there and frankly it was quite annoying. Support is not really there at all for this product. You might be better off spending a bit more for a bigger brand.

Gimbal is great, Support for product is non existent
The Gimbal overall is well built, and works as you would expect the gimbal to work; unless you need to update firmware and then try to get support. I tried to contact support for about a month, emailed them, tried their phone numbers, tried replying to app support, and went to FAQ sites to try and resolve an issue where the app showed the gimbal was at 0% charged when the gimbal was fully charged. Absolutely no support.I owned 2 G6 Gimbals and the SCORP. After my experience with their product support, I will only go with DJI from now on. I have always received good support from DJI, and understand why they are the Top-Dog in this game. By Feiyutech!

Great to reduce unstable videos when I take video and walk at the same time
I am very thankful with the current advance of the camera technology. I have A9II and ZV-E1. ZV-E1 is a great camera. It has a good stabilization feature. However, I would like to take videos whereby I move along with the subject, then I need gimbal to reduce the camera shake further. ZV-E1 has an internal feature that reduce camera shakes but it requires a level of cropping. With this gimbal, the video is more stabilized, I don't need to turn on the feature that reduces camera shake on my ZV-E1.Just like any other gimbal, this gimbal needs to be set up to ensure the camera is balance. It requires fine adjustments for all the bars. Once, it's balanced, the gimbal is ready to use.One downside is once it's balanced, I can't use the case anymore because parts of the gimbal protrude the case.
