Excellent product and customer service. I love the functionality of this bottom board. The adjustable entrance is a nice feature for the ebb and flow of the year. The entrance incorporates a mouse-guard and allows you to close up the hive when needed. The pollen trap works well and can be removed or adjusted to allow varied settings for the bees to all pass through the trap or some or none at all. The bottom board's design allows for ventilation but limits the potential for light to enter the hive as is typical for many screened bottom boards. The slide out tray can help with pest monitoring and/or trapping. I tend to be a DIYer but find this bottom board to be worth the expense and the customer service was top notch​.

This bottom board is just great! It has everything you could want and our bees seem to really like it. Makes it super easy to collect pollen, properly vent the hive, and reduce the entrance without disturbing the girls and changing what the front of their hive looks like. The seller got this to us a full day or 2 quicker than quoted, which was necessary since we were picking up our bees after an unexpected death of our last hive. Think the park spray pesticides and they were poisoned. Anyway, great service and we are extremely happy with the board.

Own several,of them, bees love the landing board. Easy to get pollen from or see how hive is doing from pulling out tray. Easy to clean. Fits perfectly. Keeps your hive much cleaner than standard wooded bottom, ventilations is great for the hot south like we have in S.C. I do not move my hives so no experience moving them with this base but it does fit perfectly

I want to say great customer first off! Had a shipping issue but once once I reached out to them it was quickly resolved. Second the product looks great! I have one apimaye hive and love the bottom set up. I look forward to using this on my wooden boxes. Great way to collect pollen and see if the hive has a mite issue.

I bought this to replace the entire bottom on my main hive. I'm a second year beekeeper, so I'm still fairly new. Over the winter I had a nest of mice take up residence in my hive and do some minor damage before I was able to open it after the danger of freezing had passed. I really like the design of this setup. It is easy to clean and keep track of mite and pollen counts. The built-in entrance reducer and mouse guard are very well designed. The only reason I gave this item a 4 star rating rather than a 5 star was because I had to use a knife to shave some of the plastic on the edges of some parts in order to make them fit. I could see where it was molded where the plastic wasn't exactly the size it was supposed to be. It was an easy enough home fix.

I was excited to get my new bottom board but it does not come with instructions and it is missing the triangular piece pictured. I can not figure out how to attach the rectangular red plastic piece.
