Impressive To Watch, But Hard To Control
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this as I thought it looked interesting. It arrived boxed with USB A to Micro USB charging cable (No adapter included)After charging it, switched the little button at the top near the charging port and you have to keep hold of the orb and move around to make a 180° motion to activate it.As you can hear from the video it is quite noisy. It's difficult to control, mine seemed to want to fly towards the left all the time and only need to let go of it and its off!So after a while of playing with this, we realised we had to aim it towards the 'right' as we knew it would swing itself left.It still wasn't easy! If you don't want to keep chasing this thing around, turn it upside down like on my video, it will spin 360° round and round in your palm with a nice pattern of colours and because it's upside down it can't take off!

Fun drone ball for serious park fun!
Got young chikdren? Fancy a ball drone? This is the AYCEAN Flying orb Ball Drone Light Up 10cm Diameter, Available in Gold, Blue, Pink or Red, With Micro USB Charge Lead. This ball is great fun, but only in a big open space with little wind, as it has 2 modes, throw and come back or throw and fly off! If you have a decent throw it goes really far, not ideal for small gardens. You'll need a trip to a park! This is rechargeable via Micro USB and you'll get 25 mins worth of lobbing around in just 25 minutes. It is fun, but does take an age to master. My only issue is the power button, you need a key or a pen to turn on / off.Overall I'd recommend this for almost half an hour of fun in the park, just ensure there us no wind!

Futuristic ball installed with mini drone
My kids and I enjoyed playing with this toy! This flying ball from AYCEAN made our usual pass-the-ball game more exciting and fun.The ball has a mini drone installed inside. It comes with the orb RGB lights. The ball is made up of durable, non-toxic and environmentally friendly materials. It’s also lightweight (weighs 170 g) that even if it hits an obstacle, it has a slow and natural movement. This flying ball has a triple battery life and has a fast charging capacity (can be fully charged after 25 minutes using a USB charging cable that can be connected to any device). The flying ball also has unique features. It has an ability to fly as a boomerang with its anti-drop technology and covers endless trucks.I like the innovativeness of this flying ball. The mini drone installed inside is cool which makes playing with this toy more exciting. Despite this, the noise coming from the flying ball can be sometimes disturbing. I just wish this can be lessened.Overall, I had fun playing with this product. However, it is a bit pricey for a toy.

A good 15mins of play when fully charged. Great fun
The media could not be loaded. This flying orb is presented in a lovely box, which makes it ideal as a gift. The contents include the Orb, USB charging cable and a user manual. It is quite fiddly trying to connect the USB cable to the orb and operate the on/off button because the outer shell moves round freely and the frame often gets in the way of the connections.Once charged and switched on, you just give the Orb a shake and the fun begins.I initially tried to throw the Orb like a ball but soon realised that you have to handle it much more gently than a normal ball in order to guide it in the right direction. It doesn’t take long to master the basic techniques but a lot of practice is required to achieve some of the possible tricks that this Orb can perform. The light effects during flight are amazing, especially at night when it looks mysterious and magical.I gave this Orb to my 10-year-grandaughter Chloe to play with as she struggles a little when it comes to mastering hand to eye coordination and I thought this Orb might encourage her to work on these skills. I am pleased to say that it has definitely improved her throwing and catching techniques.A full charge seems to last for ages (at least 15 minutes) before a recharge is required. My daughter (Chloe’s Mum) has found it annoying that it goes on for so long because it does make quite a loud buzzing sound during flight (which is obviously much louder indoors!) and Chloe is currently playing with this Orb constantly! The light plastic mesh outer structure is a soft plastic material and it is very robust. It is well sealed at the join and despite multiple crashes, the orb has remained in one piece and continues to work perfectly (unfortunately for Mum!).

Colourful lights, suitable for all ages
Lots of fun throwing and catching this light up flying orb. It's a bit fiddly to connect the USB cable provided to charge it, and then pressing the on/off button is also a little tricky, but after that it's a fun 15-20 minutes of play. There's a learning period, but after that it's easy to aim and throw anywhere. If you throw it right, it can also come back. This is fun for a single person or group of people of any age. The cage is flexible and durable, and keeps fingers off the propeller. Very safe even for my 2 year old, who loves playing with this. It arrived very beautifully packaged. I would recommend it.

Get ready to practice
This is harder than it looks to TRY and control it but it’s still good fun. I struggled with the on button but once it was on it was away. It’s really pretty colours and the younger children loved to look at it even though they couldn’t get to play with it . Easy instructions but I’m hoping it gets easier with practice. Not sure about the price as I have seen very similar a lot cheaper but not as pretty so I suppose it depends on the occasion you want it for.
