Q: How many pieces in 2 lbs?

I broke them up by 2 sizes. One group was really thick and about 6 pc. and other group had about 8 pc. Can’t remember exactly. It was worth the money I paid.

Q: Is this selenite or satin spar?

Selenite grows in flat, wide, and mostly transparent crystals called windows or plates. Satin spar is white and grows into these fibrous, wand shapes. Basically, all wands (and towers) are actually satin spar, so these would be too, but their called selenite because that's simply what most people expect them to be called. Both are forms of gypsum, and have very similar properties though, so they can be used fairly interchangeably without compromising most metaphysical work.

Q: I know the amount will vary, but can you estimate how many pieces would be in 2 lbs? Let's say if they're about 3.5 " each?

The bundle I got had about 15-20 pieces.

That is Satin Spar AKA "Moroccan Selenite" it is a Gypsum based mineral just as Selenite but you can tell the difference, as Satin Spar has the long stands looking much like fibre optics where as Selenite looks much like Quarts with internal fracture patters much resembling the fractures within fluorite
