AC is good... Cooling effect as expected...

I've been using this AC for past 3+ months. Gotta tell you the cooling is great and the air throw is super. Never need to go above 2-3 bars unless you have a big room. Also, the power saving is just mindblowing. With my previous non-inverter 7 year old Samsung 1.5 Ton AC I was burning money every summer. Was getting power bill around 5.5K - 6.5K every month. After switching to Daikin AC my power bill comes in range of 3.7K - 4.1K. So kind of significant savings right away as my usage is usually almost 8-10 Hours every day. one thing to note, I usually keep AC temp between 24-26 Degrees as I want a comfortable room temp & not make my room into Shimla. Its a must buy for everyone who wants to have a world class AC in their home & the power bill savings are simply great. although there is nothing fancy settings like convertible settings but its anyway going to save you enough money from first month itself that you wouldnt even think about any convertible AC settings. sometimes the ac runs at 10% compressor load during night times & maintains the temperature of the room (24 C) which blows my mind. The only negative thing is the technicians from Daikin were not upto the mark. 2 guys came for installation & one guy among them probably a newbie in this field as he was clumsy and making mistakes during different process and the main guy had to keep shouting at him to pay attention while working. Initially the pipes were vaccum pumped only for maybe 4-5 mins & when I told them to atleast do it properly for another 5-10 mins, they reluctantly did for another 5 mins. Also, they charge you exorbitant rates for outlet pipes, pvc wall clips, etc as if to make one time loot. A better quality of work was expected from Daiking brand but what can you do. Still I'm happy with this purchase and the quality product from Daikin brand.

I have been using this AC for four months and most of the times the journey has been fraught with issues. I will list down the issues. 1) Authorized service center guys installed it but did not seal the pipes properly and it resulted in refrigerant leakage. Ac started to flash fault code 3 and then they changed outdoor unit thermistor without checking the refrigerant level. Nonetheless the issue was rectified but it took them a month to do this in the peak summer season. 2) A month further down the line, Indoor unit started making noise and it was hardly blowing any air. After two months and a handful of customer care requests, the unit was taken down and cleaned thoroughly twice, but in each instance the problem recurred. And since the line of air gets broken it directly impacts the cooling capabilities. It takes around 1 month for the coil to get completely clogged. They say it is dust which is clogging it. Now we are talking about a town where air quality is comparatively better. And there are other ACs operating in the House, they never got clogged. Why this one in particular? Sadly, there is no answer to that. Before this AC, a unit of Hitachi used to be there at the same place for last three years. Never encountered such an issue with that. 3) They say each time this happens, indoor unit needs to be taken down and coils need to be cleaned after separating it from indoor unit and they will charge for that even in warranty. Last run down clean up was a month ago and I am facing the same problem again. Regretting the decision to purchase this model. 4) Customer service is pathetic and Local ASMs are rude. Even after escalating the issues they won’t listen and will talk rubbish. They make statements like “Since your usage is high, this is happening” Well, I did not buy to stare at it 😊, “Go and escalate with whom so ever you want”. Really disappointing. It is the attitudes of ASMs which will frustrate you the most. 5) At the time of writing this review, I am facing the same problem and there is no resolution in sight. Well, I am stuck with the product and don’t know what to do with it except regretting my decision to purchase it.

Good product

I recently purchased this Daikin 1.5 Ton Inverter AC, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience, especially considering the price for just 36k, felt like a steal. The installation process was seamless, the technician arrived the next day of delivery and performed the setup quickly and professionally (thanks to technicians from Air cooling system). Most importantly, the AC is working wonders. It cools the room incredibly fast, even during peak afternoon heat, maintaining a consistent and comfortable temperature. I've also noticed how quiet the operation is, making it perfect for the bedroom. This has been a truly great and worthwhile purchase. Only issue I had was the delivery, Amazon took about 15 days just to ship my order and thats about it. But on the other hand the package was shipped with care and delivered to me without any damage even to the box it came in.
