Q: is compatible with 220v 50hz?

Yes. However, be sure to follow the instructions on page 4 of the Operating Instructions. The turntable has a voltage selector switch that allows you to select between either 110-120 volts for use in the United States or 220-240 volts in Europe. The specifications listed on page 6 of the Operating Instructions state that it is compatible with either 50 or 60 Hz.

Q: Does it have auto return?

The SL-1210MK2 is a manual turntable. The tone arm does not automatically return.

Q: Is the Technics SL - 1210 mk2 sealed in the original box ?

Mine came in an original factory sealed box.
