Great for lifecasting!
Used for my lifecasting project, worked perfectly and retain much detail, veins, texture, foreskin etc. took to spray paint really well (didn’t need a primer) overall very satisfied with results. After painting it obviously loses some detail but that’s to be expected. Mixed and pour directly in the alginate tube. Once cured just removed the alginate.

Used with silicone molds
Worked great on my dollar tree silicone molds. Dried within an hour.

Perfect for reclaiming clay!
This plaster is very easy to use, simply mix per the directions (I used the 8lb bag) and you can make a nice slab for recycling your clay. The inside of a plastic container works well, and after 1/2 hour or so you can pop it out, then let cure for 24 hrs. I’ll be covering this with a pillow case to avoid any bits of plaster getting into the clay, but the surface came out nice and smooth.

Its just ok
Easy to mix, 2:1 ratio, so easy to make less. Mixed well, let sit a minute or two so the bubbles could rise. Once poured, I didn't feel i had to tap the mold too much. Still left a bubble or two after I demolded. More time to fill those holes. Plain old plaster of Paris is cheaper and less bubbly. My molded product was very smooth so thats a plus for painting. I might buy again.

Turning Dreams into Plaster Perfection
This Perfect Plaster Pottery & Ceramic Casting Material is like magic in a bag. With 4 pounds of potential, you can create anything from delicate ceramics to wild Pinterest-inspired projects. It mixes easily and sets quickly, so even a beginner like me can feel like a pro sculptor. The best part? It’s strong enough to hold up but smooth enough to catch all those little details. Whether you’re making a planter, a keepsake, or just something to brag about to friends, this plaster has your back. Warning: Highly addictive. Once you start casting, you’ll want to plaster everything. Your creative side will thank you; your houseplants might get too many new homes. A must-have for DIYers!

Ok, but prefer Perfect Cast by same company instead.
It's just ok. Got the job done but left many holes in the product. Mixed and casted as directed, tapping mold after fill to eradicate bubbles. I made 3 batches so far using different measurements to see if it made a difference... using more water made the dry time more but the details came out a little better although completed item wasnt as sturdy- when mixing as directed i got the result in images. We used 8 different molds, some very plain styles and some more intricate and obviously the ones with designs all had issues/flaws but some of the "plain" styles did as well. If using molds I would suggest this company's other product "perfect cast" which we also bought and got infinitely better results.. down side is that it's less product per cost but worth it in the end. If you want something to test out or just use in a pinch this does dry quick, is accessible with the cost, and comes out feeling very smooth to the touch- just know you will have to work quick (use cold water) and fill your mold enough to cover the detail and tap out as much bubbles as you can to get the best results.
