Compressor button creates noise
This is my 1st ever Volt interface, and I'm happy with it. I bought the 276. I use it for recording metal guitars and vocals, and am happy with the pre amps. My only gripe is the compressor button will introduce a loud noise floor, so use at caution. I don't ever use it for recording vocals/guitars, but sometimes use it when chatting over discord etc. The compressor is basically a gimmick. Built quality is sturdy and nice, the interface looks really cool. The headphone input has TONS of volume so no worries about lack of volume when recording and listening. The vintage mode adds some nice warmth to my guitars and vocals. The installation and set up was easy as 123, and the free bundled software is really cool. Comes with Ableton Lite, several plug ins etc. Would definitely recommend to anyone not sure about this interface. Every now and then I will hear some crackling but this is due to me needing to update my PC's bios. I am using Windows 11.

Great quality and no fuss
Excellent quality. The care taken to make it is shown in the finish and even the quality of the packaging- A company that pays attention to detail. Works straight out of the box with my Apple Studio M2 Max - no fuss and immediately recognized unlike others that are cheaper. Type C connector is good and latest model.

Plug In and Play and built like a tank
Dead easy to set up and the sound quality is spot-on. Feels well put together with solid knobs and ports. Perfect for a home studio or anyone starting out recording. You might not need all the ports that I do so grab a smaller version if that's the case. I have owned the Apollo Twin before this and it's not got all the bells and whistles like the Apollo's but the sound quality is exactly the same to my ears. Oh and talking about ears, I've added my own solid wooden ears (Side Panels) to mine to give a more premium look and add a nice angle that makes the buttons and knobs easier to see and move/push.

Simple and easy to use
Quick to set up easy to use. Currently using for narration for my YouTube videos. Haven’t tested for my guitars and song writing yet. Only downside it doesn’t really tell you that the free plugins won’t work on your phone if you are using it for phone. Works well with GarageBand. Much better interface than my previous one.

Great audio interface for the price
I've used this interface for months now and am very happy with it. The pros outweigh the cons at this pricepoint, and I'm confident to say that anyone seeking a new audio interface will be happy with this one. PROS: -The connectivity is very good, 2x XLR or 1/4" input on the front, 1/4" jack line level inputs on the back. 4 channels (1/2 in-out, 3/4 in-out) -Mic preamps sound very nice, and line level is clean and uncoloured. This was hugely important for me! -Styling is pleasing (wood panels a nice touch), build quality good. -USB C is a great improvement for this type of equipment as it powers the unit as well.* -Works instantly with Logic Pro and other Mac software CONS: -The meters on the front are very low-res, so it's not really possible to garner any info about your signal other than it's loud or quiet -I know I said styling is nice, but the knobs are a bit plasticky -It would've been really nice to have a second USB C socket on the back to daisychain power or use it as a hub of sorts.*

I purchased this based on the "analog" circuits in this digital interface. First, I really like the aesthetics. The wood is real and the metal is solid and excellent. LEDs are very cool on it as well. USB C to USB C is nice too, latency is almost undetectable. I use this for guitar, recording on a DAW, and also Rocksmith using the ASIO driver. The analog compressor circuit is really cool too. Sure you can't dial it in like a real 1176, but the presets are extremely usable and doesn't cost thousands of dollars. Very usable for a microphone and not having to go through a DAW to have some compression on vocals. Also really liked the free plugins, there were a ton of free programs and plugins that I felt were really worth it. Overall would 100% recommend to anyone looking for more of a midrange solution.

Bought this to replace the Maschine MK3 I was using as an audio interface. In short, I wanted to free up the desk real estate and the footprint of the Volt 176 is a fraction of the size of what I had been using. Build quality is great. Sound quality is great too, with my headphones and monitors reaching levels they hadn't reached before. The unit is aesthetically pleasing and easy to use. Highly recommended.
