Great for bulk material removal
I use a variety of carbide inserts depending on the job, when it comes to removing large amounts of material as quickly as possible I prefer to use these button inserts. They are very good at removing material quickly before swapping to a different insert for more precise cuts. The cost of the inserts at the time of writing this was around £14 and this item was £16 so for the £2 extra you get a tool holder.
