Q: What are the weight ranges on each size?

Q: My cat is 12lbs, just over the medium size limit. He's squirmy, so will the Large still be snug enough so he cant flip over in the bag?

My cat was able to just keep pulling out of the neck collar. It didn’t work for me. My vet said she had the same problem with the bag she bought. She now just wraps the cat in a large towel to keep it subdued. That’s what I do now as well. Seems to be the best way to handle them.

Q: Working with several cats 9#-16#, can only afford 1 bag unless someone selling for less. How big/small can neck holes go on M & L?

We have a Medium, Our cat is 6#, and the bag is a Comfy, but Snug fit. We only Transported her in it Once to the Vet(she can go Wild, and it saves Scratches) and she was OK. Her claws Can poke through the material as little points, but she keeps Very Sharp ones. I do not believe a 9# would fit Roomy, and not go in if they Fight Restraint; I have Strong Doubts it can Accommodate a 16# rump! The Neck piece is a 10" padded collar, with an additional 4" Velcro fastener. It could be fastened such as to make a Longer Circumference, as a cost of Firmness and Security. It zips up the Back, with Hair guards inside, and a Flap that folds over and Velcro fastens. It has Multiple Access zips, and it Could allow Legs to Protrude, but I feel that would be Uncomfortable and Unsafe. There are Cheaper bags, but it is decent quality for our usage.

Q: can you access the cat's hind end (for taking temperature or washing anal area)?

It does not have an opening for the hind end. There is a full opening and would work if you keep the head in the head opening secured and then the upper body secured with the Velcro provided on the product. I hope this helps.
