My Son loves this game!
I got this game for my Son because he is a huge fan of Dora. So far he loves it, it does require passwords for each completed level but my Son just re-does the level because the passwords don't get written down. This game is more for younger children as it is pretty easy to play(my Son is 3 and a half and can do most of the things himself). Overall I think this game is good for younger fans of Dora :)

Great starter game
I bought this game as well as many others for my 6 year old. This game is terrific for a starter game. Dora doesn't "die". She can start again over and over without dropping back any levels. It really helps keep the frustration to a minimum when learning to maneuver the controls. She really loves this game and mom likes to play it too. The levels do get increasingly more difficult but not too hard for a young child until you get to the RainForest with "climbing vines". Mom tried at least a dozen times and could not successfully get Boots to jump and climb across all vines needed.

Great game for young kids
This is an amazing game for small children. I got this for my 5 year old sister, and all she wants to do is play it. Plus, she's saying how much she wants another Dora game for her birthday, which is 10 months away!(Personally, it's pretty repetitive and boring, but, then again, it wasn't made for teens)This is great for giving kids something to do when they are bored, such as on a road trip or long airplane trip, as no matter how bad the graphics are (they are OK) or how "boring" it is, they will want to play and beat it over and over.

TOO SHORT!!!
My 5 year old bought this game yesterday and finished it this morning. I think he played it for a grand total of 4 hours :( We paid $9 for it used and I feel that it was a waste of money to buy something that ended so quickly. However....I will give it 4 stars anyway because my son DID enjoy the game and he was able to do almost all of it on his own. I think maybe a 4 year old (or a 5 year old who wasn't so accustomed to playing GBA and DS games) would have been able to spend more time enjoying this game.

Great game for the younger players
I bought this game for my daughter as a Christmas present. Both of us absolutely love it. My daughter turned 4 in October and this game is easy enough to play that she is able to truly enjoy it. Out of the 3 games she received for Christmas, this is the only one she plays regularly. As for me, I took the time to play it so that I understood the rules and how to play so that I could better explain it to her. Even in that trial game, I really enjoyed myself. When ever you make a mistake, instead of "dying" you simply go back to a specific place in the game that you have already passed. You never have to start all over again, no matter how many times you mess up. In addition, the game is set up by levels and after the completion of a level you receive a password so that you can resume play at a later time from the new level. If you and your child enjoy watching Dora the Explorer, you will definately love this game. Just be advised, that older children may be disappointed as it is an easy game to play. I would recommend this for children 4-6.

Mom of 2 gamers Love this game!
My (almost 5 year old) daughter LOVES this game and so do her father and I! I sat for a bit and played and I have to say, its a great game. My daughter loves playing it and I think the best part is, she can make a mistake and start over at a certain point...but she never "dies". With littler children, it gets frustrating when they "die" and have to start over. The educational value I put at 4 because it really isn't except using spanish words in some parts. The graphics however are awesome. It looks EXACTLY like the show in the still shots and the gaming part is VERY close. Closer than I've ever seen in any other game. This is by far the best game I've found for my daughter yet. This is a must buy. (For any Dora-lover or parent with younger gaming children)

*MUCH* Better Than I Expected!!
This game was one I was dying to try. I like Dora The Explorer & I am 22 yrs old. My little 3 year old cousin is the one who got me to like it. I would watch it with her. My cousin has this game & I only have 3-4 more levels and I will have the game beaten. I still want to buy it though. Although, I can play with her's until I do.There was one part with the snake that I was stuck on for about five minutes. You, think oh this is a kid's game & it will be super easy. Wrong...think again. Some worlds have bats & snakes that are hard to get around.Overall, I would give this GBA game 5 star's.
