Comfortable and a good price
This is a comfortable personal flotation device, good for summer use, because it doesn't get too hot wearing it. The price is good compared to automatic inflating vests, because this one is manual deployment only. I've had two automatic vests deploy accidentally (bending over to pick something off the lake bottom in shallow water), and it costs $25 to recharge them. So I'm looking forward to avoiding that cost with these vests. The camo pattern is pretty cool too.

I am impressed.
I bought this for canoeing and kayaking. Got tired of a bulky flotation device. I am much more likely to wear this one all the time. Versus only putting one on when I think things might get a bit sketchy. So far it seems like a good product hopefully I never have to find out if it works.

As described.
Keep in mind this is manual pull cord inflation. I have not tried it other than putting it on. Seems to be well made, didn't see any flaws, velcro was attached on both sides with no kidding stitches. Hope to never need it but I have at least something to keep me afloat if I fall into the water.

compact
These sure beat a bulky life jacket. I pack an inflatable boat into some remote ponds this is perfect for those trips.

Great for kayaking.
Almost like wearing no life jacket. Advise all who purchase these life jackets to test them out by water immersion to verify they work. This applies to all Co2 life jackets. Is sold at a great price.

Not US Coast Guard approved
Not US Coast Guard approved. This is a carriage requiremt for all life jackets on a vessel with a motor. Furthermore, it needs to be worn and not stowed to meet these same requirements, unlike the traditional type II orange jackets that can be stored on board. Life jacket is light but has fairly stiff plastic shell that you feel around your neck. Value was great, unfortunately, that means nothing since i'll have to return.
