does pipe fit over flange or, do you need connector

Hi, The duct connector of this Wall Mounting Plate with Spigot is male. A pipe will fit over this duct connector. Kind regards, The Ventilation Shop

How do you prevent the tumble dryer hose falling out of this duct?

I used mine to connect an AC unit to outside. As it was temporary I simply used gaffer tape. It should be a tight fit and hold the ducting quite firmly.
