Happy trails, no matter the weather. All-over protection keeps water out so feet stay dry when the going gets gnarly on your late-season trail runs.

they are very comfortable. Give it a week of use to mold ...
I am a fan an consistent buyer of Merrell's shoes because they provide incredible durability and comfort without fail. I got these several months ago to use as an everyday active shoe, as well as for workouts and light hiking. They've once again proven how well Merrell makes their products.First off, they are very comfortable. Give it a week of use to mold to your foot, and your foot might actually feel better wearing these than not wearing them. Second, THEY KEEP WATER OUT. I was amazed at how dry my feet were after wearing these in rain and running through wet fields. They are not meant to be waterproof for long periods of time, but they work. The sort of thin rubberized coating that makes up the pattern on the shoe does what it is supposed to do. Third, this fuction also keeps dust out. I did a full day of hiking in very dusty and sandy gravel, and these shoes killed it while protecting my feet. Fourth, they look awesome. Fifth, they are good in most temperatures- I wouldn't wear them in the dead of winter, but they are fine in the 30's with some thicker socks, and they were fine in the 80's during the summer. The only negatives I can say are that the laces are a bit too long and have gotten caught in my bike a couple times if I don't tuck them in.Verdict: All around fantastic shoe for everyday wear or active wear. 100% worth the hefty price tag that comes with Merrell.

Great shoe, sizing not bad, wear well.
I'm undecided on the sizing but like the shoes. I wear boots 24/7 and wanted something for hiking and normal use besides my 4lb each boots. The toe box everyone talks about is nice and gives room and toe bashing protection. My shoe sizing is 12 wide but not available so I went straight 12 and they're not too tight. Good support. Look Cool. Keep feet cool and dry. Oh no they wear out like every other pair of shoes. Negative reviews can suck it. 2 weeks and I haven't left any cleats behind from them. Pick up your dam feet neanderthals. If you live the boot life these should be your sneakers.

Good quality material so far
Excellent so far after about a month. Seems like the material will rip cause it feels like paper but I have hit it with a gate with loose wire, this would rip any shoe and that's that. This shoe has no imperfections so far though I am impressed.

Good shoe
1st pair of trail running shoes and it makes a ton of difference when running off road. Merrill runs about a 1/2 size big so I got a half size smaller than my road running mizunos and they fit perfectly. I went for a run after it rained all morning and I had a ton of grip on the trails, awesome! If there is gravel on your route, you can still feel the rocks but it doesn't hurt like it does running off road in my road shoes. I would say if you don't wanna feel the rocks then maybe not this shoe because some trail shoes have harder soles, but these work well.

They are dirty and have had a lot of miles walked in ...
I wore these through Vietnam. They were a bit warm at times but worth it when I could tromp through puddles and keep my feet dry. They are dirty and have had a lot of miles walked in them now, but the tread is still almost like new! Also a very cozy shoe from day one.

Good value.
A good trail shoe that meets expectations. I used to exclusively use NB, but got tired of inconsistent fittings so these came up on offer. The sole is soft so they will wear down if used mostly on the "street". Overall a nice shoe.

As good as I expect from Merrell.
Lightweight, great traction, and no wet feet after walking through a very dewy field. I bought these for Tough Mudder and expect them to perform very well.

I like this shoe for OCR
I like this shoe for OCR. Good fit. The only negative is the material doesn't breath. Its kind of "rubberized" so they get a little smelly and make your feet warmer and sweatier. I advise putting some kind of deodorizer in them after every run.
