Better than I initially thought
EDIT #2: I wrote my previous edit a over a month ago, and I am once again upping my rating, this time to the full five stars. After using the first ball in my laundry closet for 60 days I replaced it, but just out of curiosity I placed the "expired" ball in a small drawer where I keep my dog's harness. I wanted to see how well it would work, and I was surprised to find that it continued masking odors for another month before I finally noticed the effect wearing off. So while A&H says to replace these every 2 months, it seems that you can safely bump it up to 3 and still get good results. That really increases the value of these things, and overall I'm just really impressed with this product. I would definitely say that these are on the same high level as other A&H products, and up to 9 months of odor elimination for $6 is a steal in my opinion. Definitely glad I stuck with these, and I can now highly recommend them. EDIT: I'm upping my rating from three stars to four. I still think that these could be stronger, and I generally expect more from A&H products. But I originally wrote this review a few weeks ago, and I've had one of these balls sitting inside of my laundry closet the entire time. It's a small closet, but it houses my dirty laundry hamper so it always smells pretty funky in there. To my surprise, I've noticed that the entirety of the closet now smells noticeably better and cleaner than it ever has before. One odor ball does a good job of masking the dirty/sweaty smells, not just near the hamper, but throughout the entire closet as well, even the very top. It doesn't neutralize the bad odors entirely or anything, but it is doing a better job than I initially gave it credit for, and I would much rather have these than not. ORIGINAL REVIEW: These do work, but I just wish they were better. Maybe my expectations were too high, since I'm a fan of A&H products. But I thought these would eliminate odor more than they actually do. They work best in really small/confined spaces (cabinets/gym bags/laundry hampers/etc) but even then, the odor elimination isn't as powerful as I hoped it would be. The bad odors still remain, though they are definitely subdued. These barely do anything in larger spaces though (closets/etc) which is very disappointing. I don't expect miracles but I did expect them to help a *little* in an extremely small apartment closet, which they don't. The balls themselves have a strong, chemical-y scent, which I personally like, but it definitely made me grimace when I first smelled it up close. But if anything, I guess I wish they were even stronger - maybe then they would do a better job of truly eliminating odors. I think these are still fine and worth the price (each ball is $2 and lasts for 2 months which is a pretty solid value) but don't expect to use them for anything larger than a duffel bag.

Odor Bustin' Magic: Arm & Hammer 10-Pack Odor Busterz Deodorizing Balls Review
Oh, the intriguing adventure of tackling stubborn odors led me to discover the Arm & Hammer 10-Pack Odor Busterz Deodorizing Balls! Let me tell you, these little spheres of freshness are like tiny superheroes fighting off even the most formidable stinks in our home. Without exaggeration, these Odor Busterz balls are like magical deodorizing fairies. They possess an uncanny ability to neutralize odors in the most unexpected places. From the shoe closet where funky aromas had taken permanent residence to the depths of the fridge where food mysteriously conquers your sense of smell, these little warriors fearlessly blend into any environment. Picture this: you open your fridge, and instead of getting knocked out by a bouquet of mysterious food combinations, you're greeted by a fresh and inviting aroma. It's like having a mini spa for your nose every time you reach for the leftovers! But wait, there's more! These balls aren't just confined to the fridge. They work wonders in sports bags, pet areas, musty closets, and even my stinky gym shoes. Trust me; you wouldn't believe how much my shoes thank me every time I slip them off now. The easy-to-use design simply adds to the charm of these deodorizing balls. You just place them wherever those pesky smells have set up camp, and let the magic unfold. Plus, the balls don't take up much space, so you can practically hide them in plain sight, letting them stealthily do their deodorizing duties. Now, let's talk about the freshness duration. While these balls aren't everlasting, they manage to keep the air pleasantly fragrant for a decent amount of time. However, I must admit, they do require replacing after a while to maintain peak odor-busting power. But hey, for their affordable price, it's a small price to pay for perpetually pleasant-smelling spaces. One thing to note: these balls, though mesmerizingly effective, may not be suitable for hypersensitive noses. They emit a gentle fragrance that appeals to most, but if you're extremely sensitive to scents, you might want to go easy on the quantity and placement. All in all, the Arm & Hammer 10-Pack Odor Busterz Deodorizing Balls have become my secret weapon against unwanted odors. With their deodorizing prowess and amusingly cute appearance, they truly bring a touch of freshness to any space. So, if you're ready to bid farewell to funky smells and embrace a fragrant ambiance, these deodorizing balls are here to save your nose day! Disclaimer: No, these balls don't grant wishes, but they do bust odors effortlessly. Purchase them from an authorized seller to ensure odor-busting enchantment.

VERY strongly scented
I found the scent to be incredibly strong; almost overwhelming. However, they do work very well as far as deodorizing my daughter's pointe shoes.

Perfect for the shoe cabinet
Simple, does what it says, smells good! Put one in or shoe cabinet and the next morning, the smell was gone. Same with the laundry hamper. We’ll see how it holds up after a month or so, but high hopes 🤞🏽🤞🏽.

Very good quality and price. Great smell.
These are great! They last well over 45 days and the scent is a nice fresh scent. I use one in the bathroom, near the litter box, and one in the kitchen. I will buy more. Arm & Hammer always makes a good product. 👍

Freshly-Scented Balls for Your Shoes😄
These smell so fresh and clean! Generally, I don’t like the smell of closets because of that “old shoe” smell. But for the past couple years I’ve been tossing these Arm & Hammer Odor Buster Balls in my tennis shoes and boots. And it actually smells pleasant in there nowadays. It says to change them out every 60 days, but I go about 90 days usually. Not on purpose, it just never happens promptly at 60 days. They keep working past 60 days. Just so ya know. You can also use them in the clothes hamper and any little space that you want to smell fresh. Arm & Hammer has been a tried and true product for as long as I’ve been alive….a long time. They do a great job. They’re also pretty inexpensive for what you get (6 balls per package).

Good smell
These smell nice. They have eliminated the stale smell in my closets after only a couple days. The lavender smell isn't overwhelming and my wife appreciates they are small and don't leave herbal crumbs in the carpet. They seem to be holding up well and I expect them to last quite some time before I need to replace them. I would recommend.
