This is a fantastic solution, if you need to keep swapping HDMI output. For example, you have a HDMI TV or Monitor, and you keep swapping various HDMI inputs to use with it, whether it's a TV Digi box, Firestick, Computer, Laptop or Games console. Simply plug, upto 3 HDMI leads into this device, use one HDMI lead to connect to TV or Monitor. You can then manually switch, or use remote to switch between devices you wish to use. A great solution if you want all your devices connected. The USB power lead for the device is a little short, but the device is excellent.

Yea sure, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do, so that’s a plus. But golly gosh once you plug in the little power cable, that’s when the sorcery begins.One fateful day, I decided I probably wasn’t going to use it for now, so I’ll unplug the power - to my sheer unadulterated horror, it remained on. I looked everywhere for hidden strings, runic symbols, or a heartbeat. None, yet here it was still powered up and blinding me with its little green light…I then turned my attention to the remote control...The remote is where the comedy really takes centre stage. I’m going to describe what I think happened in the design and development process of this thing:They used some of the magic from the device, and travelled to the 90s. There, they went on a quest to find the ugliest remote control they could possibly find. They succeeded.On their return they removed 90% of the buttons to leave just 3, miles apart and cool as hell. I believe at this point the designer had the idea of adding additional height and squareness to the buttons. To give that extra oomph.So - 5/5 for doing what it’s meant to+1 for the little wire that’s not needed-2 for the remote - if the remote didn’t live in a drawer, I’d be tempted to remove another star.Funny thing is, I need another one of these - so I’m looking forward to seeing if they supply the same beautiful remote or if I’ll end up with one of those boring ones like in the picture…

**UPDATE** I have determined that the switching problem is due to the Humax HDR-1100S randomly coming out of standby (and going straight back off). This means the auto-switching was working correctly, but as the seller doesn't respond, I would not recommend them. I have however kept the KOOFIT, as they are quick to reply.>>> The build quality seems good and I loved the auto switching when devices turned on, which would have been the best reason to buy this unit ...but it was the reason I sent back. It keeps auto switching from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 for no reason (HDMI device only one on). HDMI is my Virgin TV box, strangely, playback often stops and goes back to menu when it switches over. This implies the switch is emitting a radio signal which is received as 'stop'. Not line of site to Virgin, so I guess it messes with bluetooth (think the Virgin remote is capable of both).The unit is powered by a very old style USB Micro cable, which in my opinion, was the worst USB connector ever invented.The unit came in very similar packaging to the KOOFIT 5-in-1, having same address from Budapest. I suspect it is the same electronics, as the KOOFIT does exactly the same thing (by powered by the superior USB C Connector).I couldn't live with having to randomly change inputs back and so I sent back. The supplier did not respond to my query, so I don't trust them to refund in the future.

No complaints, works fantastic.. although be aware it captures 4K but displays 1080p. I knew this ok purchase, but if you want 4K pass through, you will need something like an elgato that can also display 4K

Bought this for my mum and as a pro for this it’s very user friendly. However, after a few months one of the inputs stopped recognising a signal. The others still work though disappointing.
