Great look and function.
Assembly is not fun. Lightning is wonderful. It’s sturdy but a bit , a bit! Teetery bec the cords that have to fit up in the bottom are a bit much causing a not quite flat bottom. We had one of these before … loved the lamp .. and willing to put up w the inconveniences. Great look and function.

Couldn't put it together
Thought the design was unusual & would fit into my living space. However, spent hours trying to put it together only to figure out that the poles would not properly screw together. Would not recommend this product.

YOU CAN'T GET REPLACEMENT PARTS SO DON'T BREAK IT
I bought this lamp and I loved it. My dog knocked it over and the glass shade was shattered. I have emailed Lite Source several times on their " [email protected] " address with no answer on how to get a replacement. Now I have a nice $280 lamp that is worthless. Unless I want to buy another one or find an aftermarket shade that is close and try to get it to fit it is now a piece of junk. Service after the sale is important to me so I am crossing Lite Source off my list.

Nice but not sure its worth the effort
Nice looking lamp, but, very difficult to put it together. Assembly instructions are not well written. It took a while, but, once done properly, it looks good. Though, packaging is secure, it comes packaged in 2 boxes the second of which is filled with the type of styrofoam that breaks apart into tiny balls that cling to everything, and is almost impossible to clean up. That styrofoam should be banned. The only thing that worked in some areas was tape wrapped around my hand to pick up the pieces individually.

Nice, but be careful to not overtighten bolts holding glass shade
Very nice and bright light, but the glass shade cracked immediately after installation, first on one side, and then several days on the other. My guess is that I over tightened the bolts holding the glass shade in place. So I suggest using "hand" tightening rather than anything more than that. The shade won't fall off, and the bolts holding it are only to prevent it from slipping around, so no need to crank them tightly. In case you have this same problem, you can order a replacement glass shade from ArcadianLighting.com using part# LG-781699-L

Looks Just As Pictured
Works great, fair price, could be easier to assemble as the screws for the base didn't work well with the tool provided. If you have your phillips head screwdrivers then no problem
