Proper Installation is most important
Great filter, works as advertised. If you install filter upside down it will not work. That is a blank end, only to center in the filter housing. Just as important, remember to flush out fine particulate after installation thru an outside faucet if possible.

Do not buy these filters - they will plug up ...
Do not buy these filters - they will plug up your system. I purchased these for my Big Blue whole house system and within three days the water pressure in my house dropped to minimum. I removed the filter and the problem was gone.
