Don't expect much
This was so not her kind of a book.

Remarkably Great - And It Is.
Heather Grace Stewart's new novel is carefully constructed, full of wry bittersweet humour, and, as with Strangely Incredibly Good, it is the story of a High School victim's struggles to rise above her upbringing and reinvent herself in modern Canada and beyond. This is, unlike some of Heather's earlier works, very much a book for adults, some of the language has an 18 certificate, and some of the scenes of High School bullying, retold through the heroine's narration in flashback, may be shocking to British readers in these diversity-trained days. Heather does not flinch from her narrative, and if this book maybe is darker in tone than Strangely Incredibly Good, there is definitely lightness of touch as well. Heather is developing into areas in her writing that many women will applaud and recognise from their own lives, and as ever, the writing itself is totally professional, polished, and heart-felt.

you could not ask for a better well written novel
Although I am yet to read the first book in this series it didn't matter that I had not read the first one. This is a book you are able to read any time, laughed all the way through this. Romance mixed with comedy, you could not ask for a better well written novel. Looking forward to being able to read the first book in this series which I am sure is just as great.

A great sequel, funny and real.
A well written fun story that made me laugh out loud. This is a great sequel that can be enjoyed if you've read the first book or not. As with the first book I loved the 'girl power' element of the story. Highly recommend this book for women who like to see positive female characters who deal with life's trials with guts and humour.

Didn't think I would, but I did.
I read part of this book on an author site. I didn't think it would be my cup of tea, but was very wrong. I really enjoyed it and had to buy a full copy when it came out.The genie stuff aside, this is a funny modern day comedy, there's a bit of romance there too, but those blushing bits aside, this book just had me in fits of laughter. I'm looking forward to reading the rest.
