Furinno Turn-N-Tube 5 Tier Corner Display Rack Multipurpose Shelving Unit, 1-Pack, Espresso/Black

I used this to organize my video game controllers and a few other techie things that I didn't need fully out on display but still wanted in that room and it's perfect. It's an out of the way but very accessible place to get to those things with a pretty nice looking shelf. It feels really cheap when you're assembling it and really noticing just how generic the pieces are that make it what it is, but for me... After it was there and doing it's job, I mostly forgot about that and (probably) nobody else is going to be thinking about that. I like how tall it is.

This was super simple to put together - took about 15 minutes if even that! I'm using it in my home office because I needed somewhere to sit my router so it wasn't on the floor and figured I'd tackle two things at once (needing somewhere to put router and a place to put some little knick knacks, etc.).This isn't a high-value, high-end product so if that's what you're looking for, look at something different. But if you're looking for a great shelf priced reasonably, I recommend this.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This corner shelf was super easy to put together my teenage boy put it together and it’s a good height. It can hold pictures or other figurines, the shelves are not that big but it’s good for what I want it for.

TL;DR The thread pieces are weak like a cheap plastic toy and snap off the joint.Only works as a one time assembly. The pole pieces are plastic, the threads are plastic. The amount of torque needed to screw the thread all the way into the next pole is alot and it's VERY easy for the very thin plastic threaded part to snap off at the base.It worked fine, set it up and used it in the corner for months. Then 3 days ago I disassembled it and that's when I noticed one threaded piece was snapped off. I applied JB Weld to reattach it, which is SUPER strong epoxy. Even that didn't work and it snapped off again when trying to screw it in 30 hrs later.Then I realized 3 other poles had similar plastic cracking at the base of the thread. Thats the end of that, throwing it away. Can't be reassembled. Plastic joints are too weak to last the pressure needed to screw into the next pole.

This shelf is very simple to assemble! It has 5 tiers, that are good for medium to small items. Currently using it to hold all of my figures and game controllers/ games. It fits perfectly into the corner of my bedroom. The height is really good. Not too tall and definitely not short. It is very sturdy (for plastic and wood), which I was skeptical at first but with all the stuff on it and it being close to my bed- whenever someone bumps it or if my dog lays next to it- it doesn't move. Will be buying another one!
