It's not for photos, its for documents. But it is FAST
This is not for scanning your home photos UNLESS you are ok with them not looking that great. Your cell phone takes a better pic. BUT this thing is fast. Really fast. It autodetects edges so you can scan almost as fast as you can put a new image down. something like 2-3 seconds per photo. If you are doing documents, this is pretty solid. Very quick to create PDFs. Not sure how good the OCR is, but if I had to scan a box full of legal docs or something, this is 100% the way to go.

Great unit
The unit does everything the vendor said it does and if you have any question, the online system from the vendor is great. I have 3500 images to make in a few weeks. It will be interesting to see how that goes

Disappointed!
Disappointed! Does not handle book scanning well. If a book page is not absolutely flat and I mean really flat text is not scannable by any OCR product that I have tied including the IRIScan software.

Amazing receipt scanner
This is one of the best products I have purchased on Amazon. The setup is extremely simple, the only quirk was that it took a minute to find the light switch. If you have a basket of receipts, turn on automatic scanning and you can just put one or more receipts on the table and it will beep when done and automatically detect when you put the next one on. It does a beautiful job of detecting the document boundaries, adjust to vertical, and the OCR is great too. I have not tried to scan a book yet and I will update the review later.
