These packages are alright for the money. Plenty of popcorn for a 6 oz kettle.
I like these packets except with the amount of popcorn salt they provide, if you use it all that comes in the packet, the inside of your kettle eventually becomes coated with it and for my taste in how I like my popcorn, it makes the popcorn too salty! Adding more salt to popcorn flavoring isn't a way to make the popcorn taste more buttery and it certainly isn't great for one's health! Most microwave packets seem to prefer this technique. It's so much better than salting the popcorn to death to just melt real butter on top when it's all popped. The flavor is so much better tasting than adding all that salt and tastes more like movie theater buttered popcorn. Butter in my point of view is still more healthy to use than all that salt. But I guess they both have their disadvantages health wise. I'm also going to have to portion out the amount of popcorn and oil to use in the machine because with the amount of popcorn these packets provide, even though the machine boasts a 6 oz kettle, it is not that deep and I loose about half of these kernels as they pop. And why is it necessary to color the oil orange with beta caratein? Does it really HAVE to look yellow? And what use is beta caratein in pop corn coconut oil anyway?

Movie theater quality popcorn
I have one of the old style kettle popping carts. Previously, I'd used a local retailer to get the popcorn packets for use in the cart; however, they went out of business, so I wound up coming, of course, to Amazon to fill the need. There is simply no comparison between these popcorn packets (which use coconut oil) and the packets I used to use. The popcorn is some of the best I've had and rivals that which you get in the theaters that freshly pop the popcorn (as opposed to the heretical theaters that ship it in and reheat it!).Two issues to be aware of. First, getting the oil from the oil packet into the kettle is a bit awkward due to the way they've put the three components together (oil, salt, kernels). I've learned just to take an exacto knife and slit the oil packet away from the rest so it's easier. Second, you get a decent amount of unpopped kernels. Not enough to make you feel like you've lost half the bag, but probably a solid 1/5 of all kernels (or a little more) don't pop.But you can't beat the taste, in my experience, so I'll be ordering again and would recommend.

The Best Popcorn!!!
My first thought when we ordered this popcorn was, "Wow, this is expensive popcorn!". Then we made a batch and the thought was, "We don't need to try any other popcorn!". My wife and I both agree this is better then movie theater popcorn. I did this review after ordering case number two. Also, if you use the Paramount Popcorn Machine, we find if you refridgerate a pack long enough to get the oil in a more solid state, it is very easy to handle and put into the popper and doesn't make a big mess. And in closing, we did try these packs in a couple different poppers. For some reason it tasted better in the 6oz popper. When we popped it in a large capacity popper it lost flavor. Hope this review helps ya out.

Good but Salty
This popcorn tastes much better than the Orville Redenbacher we had been using and it seems to pop a little more completely although there are still too many unpopped kernals for my liking. My only complaint about taste would be that it is a bit salty so I would recommend not using all of the seasoning. Also the packaging is very hard to deal with when loading the kettle. It is best if the three components are separated before trying to put each of them in the kettle. All in all though it has a great movie theater type taste.

Rivals theater popcorn
Used for movie night and home use. This popcorn tastes phenominal. Personally, I think this popcorn tastes better than theater popcorn I've had and is less messy.

Taste great!
This popcorn taste great! Just like the Movie theater's. We purchased this popcorn/oil packets to go along with our new Paramount 6oz. popcorn maker. There does seem to be a lot of kernals that go unpopped though! I will try different brands to see if there is any difference in quality and I will post reviews on each. I also purchased a gallon of coconut oil to go along with the flavcol and popcorn that I already have. I will not be denied the flavor of movie theater popcorn!!!!

Taste is really good but...
The taste is really good but a bit salty, not too much so IMO but I do like salt. Also the pieces aren't very big that pop. I wouldn't say they're stupid small or anything but they're not big. The last brand we used popped much larger pieces but the flavor wasn't as good as this one. I think my old brand started with a V and I got it at GFS stores in Ohio but they don't have those here in CO where I now live so I needed a new source for my corn! Also, the corn is crisp right after popping, which is very nice, probably has to do with the combination of the dry climate I'm now in and the size of the corn.
