I bought this to help mix my sourdough starter during feedings (in a wide mouth mason jar). It is important to ensure all the flour is mixed well and you have no dry spots. The spatula was excellant for this, the long handle helped to reach the bottom and the flexible tip easily mixed in any dry flour. Hope this helps.
