Amazing quality and very well thought design.
This little wallet is amazing! I’ve had a Maxpedition spartan wallet for over 12 years and it would last another 12 I’m sure. But I wanted to try something more compact and I am pleased with my choice. I easily fit 4 or 5 cards, my drivers license, hunting tag, and about $50 cash in the various slots. Plenty of rokem for what I need to carry. And Maxipedition quality is by far the best I have found. As close to bulletproof as you can get.

MY RIGHT CHEEK.
THIS, is The Perfect Wallet (in my most humble opinion, of course). Once upon a time, I went to Walmart in search of a new wallet, naturally, since my leather moneyclip/card holder had come apart at the seams(which I had gotten years ago from that very same place.) I am very glad they did not have, on the shelf, that same leather lump I sat on for so long. I very much have a LARGE distaste for LARGE wallets propping up my right cheek all of the time. I hear that is cause for bad backs in men these days. Anyhow, after about a half hour of REALLY looking those Walmart wallets over good, I came to five revelationous conclusions, my perfect wallet MUST be nylon(lighter and tougher than leather), double stitched, have NO velcro(less attention at checkouts/etc), have room inside to accommodate for laminated cards, and fold ONLY once. My right cheek thanks me for my decision. And if my right cheek is happy, I'm happy.. Well, at least with this problem being solved. We all have plenty more problems to be solved. But, if you have the problem of trying to find the perfect wallet(in my own humble opinion), then consider your problem solved. Now, keep in mind, I don't like to keep a whole bunch of stuff in my wallet. It's only for my debit card, license, hunting license, a couple photos, a 1 ounce silver bar, library card, and a small comb that came with my facial hair trimmer set. I don't keep much cash on me, but it does have room for some. ALL THAT SAID, thank you, Maxpedition. I am a fan. This wallet lead me to buy the Falcon II as well, and I LOVE that backpack! UPDATE****1/1/18**** Three years of everyday use, looks good as new! =D

Small, functional, rugged (Not a discounted/promo review)
TLDR; This is my new favorite wallet, used everyday, and would buy it again without a doubt. Bought because I wanted a small, easy-use wallet that fit nicely in my front pocket. This would be my main daily-use wallet, with a larger one I use as needed that contains the less used credit, membership, and various other cards. As hoped--this little guy is exactly what I needed. It easily fits my driver's license and metro transit card in the inside slot with the clear plastic. The plastic window is too small to view the entire driver's license, so I still need to take it out to show people checking ids. I fit a credit card and cash (folded in half) in the double inside slots. Folded receipts fit well sandwiched inside until I can drop them off at home. I don't use the external slot on the back as much, as it didn't seem as secure to keep a card from slipping out when handled. That slot works well for short-term use, like holding my laundry card. Since this wallet is not RFID blocking and thin enough, I am able to scan my metro transit card without having to remove it from the wallet. After using this for a few months, the canvas material is holding up extremely well, has no discoloration, and there is only a slight fray on the stitching for the attached Maxpedition logo. There is a slight curve in the corners, probably from how it sits in my front pocket, but it does not impact the feeling or function of the wallet whatsoever. I DID NOT receive any discounts, free samples, or other offers for this wallet. I am a regular Amazon customer that appreciates reviews from similar buyers.

A Legit, 10 Year Owner And User Of The Greatest Wallet Ever Made
I'm not joking, I've used this for ten years now! That's not even the craziest part, because what's crazier is that I still haven't lost it! I bought this first in September of 2014 back in my "Survival" phase, preparing for the end of the world. The material and denier quality are exceptional. It brought mil spec to an essential EDC item used in modern society. I store cash on the back side in a single exterior pocket along with all my loyalty cards. When you open it up, you're presented with a two tiered card pocket system and one translucent id holder. (HOT TIP: Store your ID facing away from the plastic, because over time the sweat and heat will humidify the image and pigment of your face onto the plastic.) I have found that I can fit eight cards, four in each pocket. You can, but it is tight at first, and will loosen as this fabric ages. Three in each allows easy card removal and placement. I can't overstate how much this wallet has supported me over the years. Genuinely, I bought it again in 2024 thinking I had lost it, and it remains one of my most used items I have ever used. You can't go wrong on this!

Awesome minimalist wallet for the guy that DOESN'T use cash.
Had this almost a year now and it's the perfect minimalist wallet. It's Maxpedition so you know it's awesome, it's thin, durable, and still in perfect shape with no signs of wear or fraying on the ends/seams. First off, this is not the wallet for you if you're the guy who still has a blockbuster video card in his wallet, and carries a ton of cash and receipts, along with every grocery store coupon card you've ever had. Just move on. I never use cash for anything unless I absolutely have to, so for someone who uses cash regularly you might find it to be inconvenient to have to fold money in thirds (god the humanity!!!). I use my credit card for everything and only carry a couple 20s, so having the quick draw card slot on the outside of the wallet is huge! I don't even have to open the wallet! When you first get the wallet and put the first card in there, you'll think they totally screwed up and made the wallet too wide. This will be 100% true if you only carry a $20 bill, your ID, and 2 credit cards. If that's you, I'd advise against getting this as you'll live with the constant paranoia of pulling your wallet out in a dark restaurant and watching your credit cards spiral out like ninja throwing stars into the night. But if you carry a little more than that, you'll quickly understand that the extra width is necessary to accommodate for more items . I have my license, cash, and ATM card in the window pocket, 5 various cards in the opposing pocket, business cards in the front, and 1 credit card in the back quick draw pocket. Everything fits snugly in place while still easily removable, and I've yet to have anything fall out. I don't really understand the complaints. Sounds like no one did their homework on this wallet before buying it. Go to their site and look BEFORE you buy. You might find a wallet there that better suits your needs, instead of buying this and rating it 1 star cause you didn't like it.

Rugged, tactical, minimal
I got this wallet for two reasons: (1) so I can carry it in a shirt breast pocket while working, and (2) as a means to downsize from my ever-growing leather tri-fold wallet. I was amazed as to what I found tucked in my previous wallet. Receipts I couldn't read any more, all sorts of membership/club cards I never use, and all sorts of other things. This wallet holds the bare essentials well. There is a clear plastic portion for your ID cards, and two slots for credit/debit/insurance cards. On the back side, there is another slot where I keep some folded up cash. The wallet is well built and rugged. My only complaint is that I wish the ID card area held the cards more firmly. They don't fall completely out, but do slide a bit at times. I have recommended this to a friend. I would buy it again.

Super slim and well built wallet.
My second one of these. My dog chewed up my last one. This applies to both the coyote tan and foliage green one. Wallet is slim and has double stitched taping around the borders. The nylon is of decent weight and you can feel the Teflon coating on the fabric. There was no skipped stitches or loose threads to speak of. I thinned down my cards, and ended up with four cards in the clear I'd pocket, four card stock type insurance cards in the back pocket, and three cards in the front pocket. On the outside I placed the debit card I usually use. My old wallet had an outside card slot that is great for the card you use all the time, I was glad to see that this one had that also. Overall a well made wallet with a slim lines. Would recommend.

Exceptional. Durable, 4 years still looks great
Just top notch in every way. I’ve had it and used it every day for 4 years. Still looks in good shape, but most importantly it’s as strong as durable as the day I got it. Also has the perfect blend of minimalist but also functional. I’m wondering if I can get 10 years out of this. Only caveat is that I usually don’t keep my wallet in my pocket all day long. It’s often in a backpack. So mine gets a little less abuse.
