They are not felt or foam. they are puffy, like tighter cotton balls, that do not fall apart. My cat loves them.

Q: Will the color rub off onto my cat fur?

No the color will NOT rub off!!

Q: Can someone explain why these are my cats favorite toy since 2mo.? They are her prized possessions.

WARNING! They were my kitten’s favorites, also. However, he got one stuck in his throat and was choking. I massaged his back and front and tipped him upside down. I was about to call the veterinarian when he coughed it up. I won’t let him have these anymore. I threw the rest of them away. I personally believe these are not a good cat toy and they should be removed from the market.
