Q: Is there an expiration date?

I have a bottle with an expiration date of May 2006, and it still works.

Q: Does it stop blistering of the burn area?

I used to work at KFC, and we kept the individual packets in our first aid kits because we were constantly getting burned, and I never got blisters when I got to use it right away. This stuff is AMAZING.

Q: can someone tell me what the label reads for "active ingredients"? is it just lidocaine hcl 2%?

the ingredients are ....water, xanthan gum, glycerin, diazolidinyl urea, methylparaben, propyl paraben, propylene glycol, melaleuca alterfolia, (tea tree), leaf oil, disodium EDTA, octoxynol-9. Hope this helps.Just as a side note, my sons girlfriend burned her hand on an iron and I put this on her burn as soon as it happened. She said within a minute the pain was gone and it has healed up without any problems.

Q: Does it help on old burn ?

I have not found it helpful for old burns but on a new one it works well
