Qty 4 of screw type: LAG 5/16X1-1/4"LG HWH allows bracket to be mounted to housing cap.

Yes it does. It also has a pressure gauge for top of filter and also a drain plug

Q: Can this be used for diesel filtering

I don't think so. I wouldn't try it on a vehicle without considerable testing. Diesel is a relatively low molecular weight hydrocarbon and a solvent for may polymers. I would be concerned that the polymers, plasticizers, adhesives and/or sealents used on the filter, the housing and/or seals could be softened or dissolved by the fuel and end up in the injectors or pumps; a costly problem with the high-tech diesels. Note too that fuel rated filters and not necessary rated for diesel. If you are in need of this kind of volume filtering, I'd suggest the big paper filters used in stationary diesels or home heating oil filters (home heating and diesel are about the same fraction). good luck.
