Q: Can you use on black furniture?

I'd only use it on black furniture if it's for inconspicuous areas with slight scratches you're trying to cover. Otherwise would recommend buying a small can of transparent stain from your local hardware store in a deeper color. OE color is a dark brown and not black.

Q: Can you use this on brown tile instead of wood?

I have with good results. may have to let dry if tile have rubber foundation.

Q: Have an all wooden antique settee damaged by water stains, etc. on the seat. After using your product, can we sit on w/out it staining our clothes?

It must be thoroughly dry. Wipe with soft with soft white rag to test. I have used this product for decades., I have found it is best on dark woods but use on light wood also. There are different bottles of course. Good luck!
