Bug Zapper Findings
We purchased this unit as we have had lots of small Nat's this year, due to the park across the street! These things get in every time door is open and through regular nooks and crannies! They are so fast and hard to catch, they were driving us CRAZY!This Bug Zapper was a last ditch effort on my part to resolve the situation at hand!We started using this unit the night that it arrived and I have to tell you that "Combat The Problem It DIID!We found the Tray loaded with these little pests every evening after. And we have also caught several larger flying pests as well!I cannot rate this unit high enough!!! And it's easy to clean up on a regular basis as well!Love it and recommend it highly if you are dealing with small flying pests! A very Satisfied Customer Indeed!!!

Powerful and extremely effective
Works great on our patio that backs up to woods. The electric grid on the inside is not harmful if touched. Did some research and found that it will take about a month to clear out the flying insects as they have a relatively short life cycle and their breading eggs have to hatch and be zapped before an area is cleared. We keep it on 24 hours a day but the bugs are attracted primarily at night. Can set on a table or hung with two eyes on top. Here's the trick. Remove the screws on top that hold the safety screen on the front and attache with something easy to remove, like an elastic cord. Leave an inch or so at the top to allow larger insects to get in as they are extremely attracted to the light like a cat to catnip. Lowing the screen will allow cleaning every day (yes it zaps that many). We brush the dead bugs off the voltage grit with an old toothbrush. Remember, the current is so low you cannot feel it if touched so don't worry about getting electrocuted. Says it is relatively waterproof but would recommend keeping out of direct rain. The two blue florescence bulbs are not bright enough during the day to be noticeable but at night it will glow enough to light up a patio. If you have a really big yard try a bigger unit or have all your neighbors get one. Great for the price and well built. Would buy again.

... dont use my porch light) and it has worked wonderfully. No More bugs near my home and this ...
Have one of these that I placed outside on a tree away from the house to attract the bugs somewhere other than my doors (Even though I dont use my porch light) and it has worked wonderfully. No More bugs near my home and this thing kills 1000+ Bugs every night. It's kind of a pain to clean unless you have a air compressor to blow it out (which I do not) but other than that I have no complaints.

Stuns, not kills, house flies
Bought this for indoor use as there were a couple of flies inside. Had some issues. The description would leave you to believe it has two 20-watt bulbs. It does not. It has two 10-watt bulbs. The tray is supposed to be easy to pull out to clean. The only way it's easy is if you take off the the plastic ends of the tray. The bug zapper has been very good at killing small flies/gnats. In the case of the house flies, it seems to only stun them. The first one it caught was upside down kicking its legs in the air. I took it off the tray and killed it myself. The second one fell out of the tray as I was taking it out and the rush of air as it fell must have revived it because suddenly, before it hit the floor, it took off and went flying.Bottom line: It still beats me running around trying to catch the house flies.

Death to mosquitos
I live in southwestern indiana on in the armpit of the ohio river - mosqitos are nuts here i get eaten alive in my yard every year - running this light at night in my yard i find it completely covered in dead mosquitos every morning - i use the air compressor to spray them off and run it again the next night same results - this seems to be keeping the mosquito population during the day down dramatically - im thinking about taking the protective grate off so the june bugs can make it inside to die instead of dive bombing my face - theyre def attracted to it but they cannot make it inside

Bug killer / gecko feeder
Really happy with this product, except it's just a tiny bit too small to catch the June bugs. Catches everything else smaller than a June bug, and the geckos that live outside are enjoying their meals warm.

Bug Zapper works well
Works well and easy to blast off the bugs with a air bomb. Only works well at night of course, won't attract the bugs during daylight hours. Really nice to keep the bugs away from your entry door at night time. The chain didn't go up tight enough for me to get it hung where I needed it, but adapted with a couple of twist ties. I needed it super tight with framework in order to get it up against outside ceiling to keep protected from the rain. very happy with purchase.
