Excellent kit.
I utilize this tie-down kit for my 5’ tripod and 10’ of mast mounted on my roof. Excellent quality and plenty of coated wire to provide sufficient length to secure my tripod for the Florida weather conditions. The included adjusters make it easy to keep any slack out of your cables.

38" of Guy Wire not 50"
Overall this is a nice kit but it came with 38 feet of wire, not 50 feet as advertised. Yes, I measured it. Fortunately, it was enough for my job but if you need 50', you may be in trouble. Also, if you are using it for an antenna mast, you will need to get some eye bolts/screws to secure the wire to the roof. It doesn't come with them but it also does not say it does, probably because every job needs something different.

Good quality, easy to use
I have never used guy wires before. I was using there to stabalize a new weather station I was putting up in an area that gets pretty windy at times. The materials were very well made and I was able to apply them without any issues. The weather station has now been standing (very stable) for 8 years.

Does not last
I bought this 7 years ago. This week a storm blew down my antenna. The reason was that these guy wires rusted through and broke. As I was taking the old wires off they broke in multiple places. The problem is that the wires are plastic coated steel. The plastic is supposed to prevent the steel wires from rusting, but the plastic gets destroyed by sunlight, cracks and lets water get to the steel. The result of this failure is a mangled antenna that I will now have to replace.

It does everything I need it to
It would be nice to have manufacturers explain how they use them. I still tried my version and everything eventually went together. Everything holding very well.

Acceptable kit, Can be made to work but lacks any directions.
I needed to guy a 10 foot galvanized pole that supports my Starlink. I found this kit. Since it had most of what I needed I bought it. The first thing I noticed was that there were NO directions of any kind. Guidance matters. I dropped a star for that reason. It wasn't difficult to figure things out but it took time and some dry runs on the ground. The kit includes 6 TILLER CLAMPS double that amount would have been better. I ended up using the tiller clamps on the lightweight aluminum turnbuckles. It made the most sense to me. The guy wire is strong and once bent maintains it's bend which is a good thing. Attaching the wire to the GUY WIRE RING took some thought. You can see from the picture my solution. If you don't know how turnbuckles work, I did not, that info can be found on the internet. I wish they were not aluminum but they are strong enough. I could see no reason to use the 3 S HOOKS. Three more tiller clamps would have allowed me to clamp the wire rather than twist it on itself. I did go to the hardware and bought wire clamps to further secure the guy wire. I was given 54 feet of wire which is actually strong and malleable. Overall I recommend this kit. It really has MOST of what's needed and with some thought and hardware store additions it will get your job done.
