Seemed like a good deal. It was solid, yet light and since it breaks into three sections something I can travel with.

I ordered a stick that came with, in their words in the description above as - "【FASHION LEATHER STORAGE POUCH】 - Including a Leather Storage Pouch for Easy Carrying and Storing."See pic. Unless they came up with a way to make leather come in clear, that's plastic all day long. No leather at all. I ordered a photographers tripod case to hold it instead of the cheap plastic pouch. If they came up with a decent pouch, with a shoulder strap even, I'd have ponied up a few more bucks.

I have not used it yet, but hope to when I go hiking.

We bought these as a gift this year for two friends we’ll be traveling with next year. We have ones ourselves and they were great on our trip to Norway, Scotland and France this past year. They are easy to pack and to put together when you need them. They look pretty neat as well — every time we used them we would get great comments from others we were traveling with or our guides (they were all impressed that they could be taken apart for travel).
