I've only recently gotten into crypto currency & this is a very nice option for a simple need. This secure wallet comes with two aluminum and two stainless steel plates and an etching tool. Each plate is double sided and can hold either two 12 word phrases or one 24 word phrase (or any other combination less than 24) The aluminum wallets can be etched with the tool. The stainless steel plates will need to be either stamped or engraved. Tamper evident stickers are included to seal the plates together if desired. I wish they would have had holes drilled through in order to lock them as well, but this should suffice.

I bought this instead of Stamp Seed as it is less expensive and seemed easier to etch the words vs. stamping. The etch plates are aluminum, so not sure how fire-resistant they are in comparison. It's very difficult to read the words after they are etched, so if you have bad eyesight, keep that in mind.

Just what I expected. Nicely packaged, good value, good quality.

Dremel type rotary tool worked best from scribing on either plate.

These cards are a great idea, however with the tools provided to carve in the code, it is very hard to do and a long process. The stamps would be the best way to go and plan to get a set and complete it when I get a chance.

If you’re in search of an extremely well made and very secure method of storing your passwords - especially crypto wallet passwords - look no further. I’ve not heard of this name brand and I have a feeling it is just a Chinese company but it is still a well made product regardless. There are a few different totes of passwords storage devices sold by this company but this review is for the no frills standard XSEED product. Within the packaging you get 2 thick stainless steel cards for punching (no metal punches come in the standard set), 2 thick but strong aluminum card for etching, a very sharp etching “pen”, and a small storage wallet of sorts. Etching into aluminum with the pen isn’t the easiest thing to do especially with curves such as with letters “C” or especially “S”! It comes out sport of like chicken scratch using the pen. I did have some luck going very very gently over curved letters and then going back over the curves multiple times each pass slightly heavier than the last. It still doesn’t come out smooth and at this price point you’re much better off spending a bit more money with the same company and buying their XSEED Plus product that comes with steel letter punches. I own a Dremel tool and tried to use that to etch letters but the tool kept squirming away from me and wasn’t much more successful than the etching pen. The major advantage of a product like this is that once your passwords are stored they are now impervious to cold, heat, water, fire, and other disasters, and keep your passwords off your computer and therefor resistant to hackers. Of course keeping passwords like this make it susceptible to loss or theft but you should just lock this away in a secure safe and only get it out when you need it. This product is well made and very secure. The aluminum cards are thin but very strong. Again, my recommendation is to spend a few extra dollars and buy the set with the punches for a much better end result. There is nothing inherently wrong with this product but as there are better products out there I’m going to give four stars.

Per quanto io sia un grandissimo fan ed ammiratore delle criptovalute di tutto ciò che ne giri al suo intorno, posso dire che questo prodotto a un prezzo veramente esagerato, anche se la sua bellezza rimane invidiabile. L'idea di fatti è geniale, ed anche confezionamento e super Premium che vi farà sentire una persona d'elite ogni qualvolta lo aprirete, ma come tutte le cose belle e come tutte le cose quando c'è tanta fomo dietro c'è un però chi è il prezzo è la moda del momento, difatti il prodotto in questione pure se hanno molto bello non presenta tutte le componenti per poter essere utilizzato nel migliore dei modi, difatti in confezione sarà presente il simpaticissimo e super elegante associno per riporre tutti i vostri foglietti di ferro alluminio, quattro lastre che sono divise due in ferro e due in alluminio ed un pennino molto utile per incidere le vostre chiavi private sui fogli di alluminio. Per quanto riguarda quelle più belle e resistenti ovvero quelli in ferro sarà necessario acquistare a parte dei punzoni con le lettere per poter andare a incidere a colpi di martello su di esse le lettere. Quindi denoto questo come un prodotto notevolmente caricato di prezzo e che per i miei gusti poteva costare decisamente di meno, o perlomeno poteva contenere al suo interno un kit da una decina di euro di punzoni per poter realizzare le scritte. In questo modo difatti questo elemento mi sembra molto un prodotto lanciato per poter sulla moda del momento virgola e su una necessità chi è veramente tangibile ovvero quella di riporre nei posti piu sicuri e di inattaccabili le proprie chiavi private. Quindi questo marciare su una necessità mi sembra veramente esagerato e scorretto, poiché come ripeto sarebbero stati necessari una decina di euro in più per inserire dei piccoli pezzettini di ferro per incidere le lettere virgola non considerando inoltre che il prezzo di circa 42 €per quattro pezzettini di ferro di cui due in alluminio e due satinati a parere mio personale sono veramente eccessivi. In definitiva mi sento di consigliare questo prodotto? Sicuramente se avete un portafoglio decentralizzato con al suo interno una cifra considerevole, con ciò si intende anche un centinaio di euro fa parer mio, dovete avere un prodotto di questo genere poiché in qualsiasi momento potete accedere al vostro dispositivo senza perdere o scordarvi delle parole che potrebbero farvi diventare dei pezzi milionari. Però considerate che una volta acquistato questo prodotto dietro vedete di fronte a una sorta di arrabbiatura per quanto in precedenza quindi se siete dei fan e amate avere in vostro possesso questi oggetti sicuramente questo sarà un prodotto che non deve mancarvi, ma altrimenti potrebbero esserci altri modi per poter annotare questo importantissime parole.
