This charger is a great accessory to this range of batteries. While the batteries are from cameras of a somewhat older generation, I much prefer this charger to that supplied with the cameras. The OEM Canon LP-E17 charger is not only more bulky but, in my view, far less versatile as1) You can only charge one battery at a time2) Using USB-C gives you the flexibility of using a power bank to charge your batteries on the move and don't have to rely on a mains, which may not be practical or convenientI'm very pleased I bought this and have no trouble recommending it.

I recently photographed 87 churches around Norfolk, on the first day I depleted the battery within 5 hours and used this to charge it while I inserted the second battery. within a couple of hours plugging this into a power bank it was fully charged. Can't fault it really, well worth it. I did buy a longer cable as the one it came with was short

This charger is only slightly bigger than the actual battery which keeps it neat and tidy. It works well with a red light when you connect to a usb point which turns blue when the battery is ready for use.
