The headband we are selling is made by Great Eastern Entertainment (AKA GE Animation). If the headband is being shipped from mainland China, then they are more likely bootlegs. Some of Great Eastern Entertainment products are made in China, but not sold there.

Q: What is the metal peace? Is it real metal or plastic?

It is real metal piece, not plastic.

Q: How do you wash this without messing up the symbol

I would recommend hand washing it. You can put some tape and foil to cover the metal while you scrub down the fabric with the soft side of the sponge.

It looks like the picture but if you are unhappy with Amazon has an excellent return policy
