Speech Therapy for Toddlers: Develop Early Communication Skills with 137 GAMES designed by a Speech and Language Therapist : Publications, Kids SLT, Publications, Kids SLT: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: Bought as a layperson to support son's speech - I bought this book to try to learn tips to help my son who wasn't using any words except Dada. I read it and it was very reassuring and combined this with some activities and you tube videos and my son started making more sounds 4 months later and he's speaking well and learning new words every day. Review: Superb - This is a brilliant book that is a book every parent needs in their back pocket whether they have a child with speech delay or not. The array of game ideas is endless and it’s easy to adapt and personalise many and play variations to adapt to the older child as well. This will undoubtedly help your little one with speech development and give you both lots of fun while working your way through these games. I have barely made a dent in the list of games but look forward to continuing our journey of exploring them together with my 3yr old (-

Great fun
Look forward to using this again when little one is a bit older. Was hoping it would be helpful for my 12 month old but he’s a bit young - will be lots of fun when he’s a little older

Great ideas to help encourage speech
Full of great ideas. I love that it is split into age groups and that some of the games are in multiple age groups but have been adapted to suit. Definitely looking forward to do some of these with my two.

I am a huge fan of all of the books that Yasmin/Kids SLT publications have. All are just the right size for busy parents but packed with information and ideas. Speech Therapy for Toddlers is no different. The games and activities over-deliver. I can't wait for more books. Thank you!

This book was filled with suggested milestones with games, toys, activities to help our children reach new goals, take new steps in speaking through play. What do most kids like better then anything else but to play. Ive already implemented a few play ideas and my almost 3 yr old grandson loves them.

There's good techniques in this book along with games to play depending on each milestone. The play part helps when helping them with their speech.
