Q: Is this actually two cables - one left and one right? If not, can they be peeled apart if they are going to a left destination and right destination?

A trick question. Yes they are actually two cables (one for right and one for left). Yes the two cables are actually "connected" or molded to each other making it appear as one cable. Can the cables be peeled apart? Yes you can peel them apart but it MAY damage the plastic casing if you don't do it safely. If it helps you, each END of the cable . . . about 5 inches (12cm) is already split. It them becomes molded together as one cable. I tried pulling my cables apart and it looks like they will separate without a problem. If you really need separate cables (not connected/molded together) buy single cables.

Q: How is the 3-foot measurement taken? Is it 3 feet from end of plug to end of plug, or 3 feet of cable, in addition to the length of the plugs?

Actual length of cable part is 34 5/8”. Cable from tip to tip is 37 1/2”. Hope this helps Moe

Thank You Gentlemen. Exactly what I was looking for. The three-foot cable has approximately 93K Xc at 20KHz The six-foot cable has approximately 57K Xc at 20KHz. Keep in mind this impedance slopes, and high-capacitance (cheap) cables will affect the high-frequency sound, as Mister Robert E found out. These cables go on the wish list. Thank You again.

Q: Copper wire core listed at 26awg, but fospower Q&A here says 22awg. Which is it?

The gauge of the internal wire is 22AWG. Hope this helps!
