What a leakproof mug should be!!!You definitely get what you pay for when you purchase a Brumate Toddy!This 16-ounce mug is truly leakproof and it keeps my coffee hot, I haven't checked the length of time it will stay hot, but it's much better than other thermal insulated tumblers and mugs I've used. Be careful with your first few sips, they will be very hot.Even though only holds about 12-ounces with the lid installed, it's the perfect size for the 10-ounce mugs of coffee that I brew, lets me have my coffee with a little milk and some room to spare in the mug.The outside of the mug is cool to the touch, no hint of any heat being lost through the mug's outer sidewalls.The base of the mug fits standard-sized coasters very well, even though they probably aren't necessary with the Brumate Toddy mug.To install the lid, just put the sipping hole opposite of where you want it for drinking and turn the lid to your desired drinking location, a 180 degree clockwise turn is all that's necessary.This mug is quite easy to clean with it's straight internal sidewalls. The lid is also easy to clean compared to some other mugs I looked at online.The magnet to hold the lock and sipping hole cover is a very nice, convenient added touch.The second mug I ordered was a Glitter Rose Gold BrüMate Toddy but was sent a Glitter White BrüMate Toddy.The problem appears to be that an incorrect barcoded label was placed on the lid of the mug's round cotainer.My first Matte Gray BrüMate Toddy doesn't have a barcoded label on the lid and the correct color mug was in the mug's round container.The color makes no difference to me, I just wanted something different than the Matte Gray that I bought a few days before the "Glitter Rose Gold." I'll probably be purchasing at least one more of these mugs.The mugs are excellent quality and neither of the ones I purchased has any hint of a leak. I've only used the Matte Gray mug and I can vouch for it keeping my coffee hot for a long time. If I want to drink it quicker, I leave the plug for the sipping hole out so the coffee cools a little, it still stays hot longer than the other thermally insulated mugs and tumblers I've tried.Overall, I am very pleased with the Brumate Toddy and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants their coffee kept hot and safe.

I used this as my tankard for Burning Man. Everyone carries one on the at all times, so it needs to be resilient. I put a lot of thought into my cup choice, and I’m glad I did. This one met my needs perfectly. It’s 16oz which seemed the perfect size for coffee and cocktails. It has a handle which I love, and the handle is skinny enough I could easily clip it to my belt with a carabiner. It’s truly leakproof. Even when full and clipped to my belt swinging around, not a drop came out.And the top is double threaded so the handle can be on the right or left (for any lefty’s out there). As a righty it’s a little bit of a pain, I always seem to thread it the opposite way I want it. But I’ll suffer through screwing the top on twice for the benefit it gives lefties. The flip top has a magnet to hold it in place so it doesn’t flop onto your nose each time you take a drink. The flip top also has a locking mechanism. The the flip top and magnet piece popped out once, but I realigned it and used firm pressure to pop it back in, and I haven’t had an issue since. It’s insulated so cold drinks stayed cold longer than expected even during the insane heat. The bottom has a non-slip base so it wasn’t sliding around in the back of the RV when we were moving (or not moving during Exodus). It took a beating during the burn, and I would say my cup is still thriving. I continue to use it daily.

I received this Toddy very well packed, I loved its vibrant color, it is leak proof as promised which is great!!!………I gave five stars because they deserve it, I only have one complaint, and that is (like it can be seen in the photos) the handle is a little damaged the paint…my husband says it doesn't matter, but I like to pay for something that is totally fine…I don't know if the seller will be able to replace this mug for me, I don't want to do without it because I love it…….I will give a new review about the seller's service if he answers me.Recibí mi taza Toddy muy bien embalada , me encantó su color vibrante, es a prueba de fugas tal y como prometen……di cinco estrellas porque lo merecen, sólo tengo una queja y es que (cómo se ve en las fotos) el asa está un poquitín dañada la pintura…..mi esposo dice que no importa, pero a mi me gusta pagar por algo que esté totalmente bien…..no sé si el vendedor me podrá reemplazar esta taza, no quiero prescindir de ella porque la amo…..daré una nueva reseña sobre el servicio del vendedor si me responde.

Wow! This cup is impressive! It has a lockable sipping opening and really does not leak even if knocked on the floor by my curious cat. Comes in a range of beautiful colors, the interior is double walled stainless steel that will keep your beverage hot or cold for hours. Very lightweight with a rubber non-slip bottom this cup is a winner! I’ve stopped using my standard ceramic cups because I can sip on a drink for a long time and this keeps it warm for me. Also it is not at risk of breaking. This cup comes in a fun round box and is very giftable! Great quality and highly recommended!

I like this coffee mug quite a lot. It only seemed to keep my coffee hot for about an hour but fairly quickly cooled down after that. It is completely leak proof IF you get the lid on correctly which is a little bit of a pain but fairly easy when you learn how. I had to try a few times to get the lid on secure; where it's in the correct position to drink. I measured exactly 16 oz and it went close to the top. If I carefully and slowly screwed on the lid, less than an ounce spilled over, but of course once its that full, it can't easily be stirred. I am fine with the size of the mug, but the product info on size was a little off. I agree with the person who mentioned the luxe packaging for it. Very over done. Could have lowered the price by $7 or $10 with out that. Overall, I quite liked the mug, although too pricey.

I find this mug to be completely leak proof IF you make sure to always set it to be locked. That’s a great feature, as well as the magnetic tab that hold the opening in place so it doesn’t fall back onto your nose. It doesn’t keep coffee piping hot, but I have yet to find any brand that does. Even yeti/swell do not live up to their promises, but this mug keeps it hot enough for me. I wouldn’t want to drink 8 hour old coffee or tea anyway.Someone mentioned in another review that this mug doesn’t hold 16 ounces, so I weighed it. When full time the brim (which you can’t do practically) it’s 17 ounces. I generally make 14oz of coffee and leave space for cream and have no problem. I think because of the shape it seems much smaller than it really is. See my attached photo of it weighing in at 17oz of water when filled to the top.It wasn’t cheap, but I adore the glitter and the size is perfect for me. I do lock the lid and throw it in my bag while I commute and it’s never leaked yet. Just be prepared if you purchase this size it will seem smaller than you expect when you receive it, but it’s not tapered which is why. I’m thinking about buying another.

I was happy it came so fast as my original delivery date was the end of January however, I am extremely disappointed in this mug. It definitely does NOT hold 16 oz of anything!! It will barely take 10 oz! Also doesn't keep my coffee hot, it's cold within an hour. Doesn't fit in the cupholder in my truck either which is a pain. Considering the price I expected much much better. I will be returning for a refund.

Great coffee mug and performs just as described. It does not leak, keeps coffee hot for 3 hours with lid closed and does not slip or tip easily.The only thing is that, although it does hold 16oz, this fills the mug to the very top and makes it impossible to put the lid on without pushing the liquid out. It does hold 14 oz very comfortably. I use a 12oz setting on my coffee machine and I am generous with the cream and the lid goes on nicely and works great for my needs. I am ordering a second cup.P.S. I ordered from Canada and it took only about 5 days for delivery and there was no duty or customs fees.
