Q: Any good for keeping ticks out?

These gaiters don't really fit tightly enough over the shoes to protect against ticks.

Q: Would these fit a small sized female (6.5 shoe) or would the velcro be positioned too large?

Q: Does anyone ride motorcycles with these? I have a 1" gap between boots and pants that want to protect.

They are great for tick protection and between my boots and pants while doing tractor work in cold temps. Depending whether you ride a Harley or crotch rocket the aesthetics may be a consideration..
