Works Perfectly.
I have an old 2 D-Cell Mag-Lite that was missing the button, this one worked perfectly as a replacement. Few seconds to press it in around the edges and done. Perfect fit. No mods, no popping out.

Easy replacement, no tools required
30+ year old 3D Maglite with a cracked & crumbly button. Pinch the old button with thumb and forefinger and it folds up like a taco shell and lifts out. Do same with this new button cover to install. Fit is good.

Fit exactly like original.
This button cover fit my Maglite flashlight just like the button cover I lost. I like that as it works great and easily. It did take some fiddling to get it to fit in place, but once it is in place it holds tightly. { would get it again to have on hand, if needed.

Good replacement
Don't know why I have so much trouble with losing this button on my MAG-LITEs. But these are a little less pricey than the originals. Make sure that you get the 'lip' on the button tucked in, or it'll just pop out, again.
