Good Quality Plates & Great For Visual People & Learning Tool
These are great little plates that deserve to be washed by hand with a sponge and Dawn detergent. A little common sense TLC and they with keep their pictures for years. I will also precut the meat so no steak knife starts scratching through the protective coating protecting the pictures. Those posted pictures of all the coloring and pictures coming off honestly will not happen if you don't use steel wool or sand paper on them. And just careful with the forks. This is not high mileage dishware so I recommend use them with love and respect, and use them up and you and your family will all benefit from what you can learn from them as they out grow these. Portion Plate - Effective Visual Tool
My wife and I have repeatedly preached portion control to our kids but failed on consistently delivering the message. Enter portion plates to solve our problem. The plates are colorful and definitely caught their attention when they were removed from the box. We haven't used them yet but feel like we are one step closer to a well balanced meal.

Healthy portions
Love that it also teaches the adults in family what a child should eat so the head into adulthood with good eating habits. Our daughter loves it and am Glad I ordered two, one for our vacation home.

My 8 year old loves his plate!
My 8 year old son loves his plate. We are practicing portion control in our house and this plate does the trick. It comes with cute little cards to help kids understand what category each food goes in.
