KittiKrack Powder

Update: my cats still love this stuff. We went away for five days and when we got home, one of our cats was really cranky. Out came the KittiKrack, and she calmed down after a few sniffs, licks, and chin rubs in it. They all really enjoy this special treat! If you expect KittiKrack to affect your cats just like catnip, you might be disappointed. But wait! In my opinion KittiKrack is better than catnip because it leaves your cats calm and serene after the initial high subsides. My cats were immediately interested in the smell of KittiKrack but took their time evaluating it. They were quiet after a few sniffs, but within a few minutes of "incubating," the silly behavior began. I've included a few photos of my cats during and after their KittiKrack sessions--I think the pictures support my observations. (Note that I offered KittiKrack to them on two separate occasions several days apart so I know their behavior wasn't just a one-time reaction to a new distraction.) What I really love about KittiKrack is how it makes my cats feel for hours after their play sessions--they seem so happy! I was impressed with the quality of the KittiKrack packaging, too. It arrives in a resealable silver pouch in a silver tin in a resealable plastic bag. Despite all that, one of my cats was immediately interested when I opened the box it came in. I'm really happy with this product.

We blended two cat-loving families and wound up with 10 (I KNOW) mostly wonderful cats that deserve a little joy in their lives. For the majority of those cats, KittiCrack has become a big part of that joy. We can barely get the packages open before we are swarmed by the most silvervine-loving cats of the bunch. On beds, cat trees, scratchers, kickers and toys, this is our new go-to treat for a little fun for the crew. Note that silvervine produces a more intense reaction, but we've found that reaction to be a bit more fleeting than catnip. We like the powder better than silvervine sticks as it's more versatile, and for the money, this is the best value -- well packaged and potent. We don't use this as frequently as catnip, as it's quite expensive in comparison. But a little goes a long way, and it's worth it to see the cats lose themselves in their toys for a while!

I got my kittiKrack a few days ago and am so impressed with it. First, packaging and design is wonderful, and the tin it comes in has a screw top, which keeps it fresh and keeps one of my Krackheads from helping herself. I grow catnip in the back yard, so several of my kitties are already nipheads, but for the cats who do respond to nip, KittiKrack seems a cut above. I never heard of silver vine until recently. I had to look it up to see what it was, and I was surprised by what I learned. Silver vine has been in use in Asian countries for years for both cats and humans. It alleviates stress and acts as a mild hallucinogenic in cats, and for humans it may help with various kinds of pain and acts as a sedative, much like Valerian. I knew this about catnip, but not silver vine. For my cats who do react to nip, and now to the silver vine, I see a definite quality of relaxation and ease in them after the "high" wears off, but the high from silver vine is a lot more powerful. My cats seem to spend more energy on a silver vine high, and they are a lot more kicked back and relaxed afterwards. I have six cats, and a couple of them don't respond to either nip or silver vine (I did read that there is a gene responsible for whether a cat responds to catnip or not, so it is not the fault of the herb or the cat), but for the ones who do, I think silver vine is more beneficial. One in particular is an adult rescue who came from a very unfortunate situation and who has had issues since we got him. He responds particularly energetically to the silver vine, and when his high is over, he is relaxed and content almost to the point of being a normal cat. We've tried hard to help him adjust to feeling safe in our home, and KittiKrack is kind of like a small miracle for him. For my others, and particularly my two handicapped younger cats, it's just a great time for all of us. Rub a little KittiKrack on one of the shrooms from Twin Critters and toss it out, and sit back and enjoy the show! Thanks guys for a great product!

My cat is weird product is great

This is a potent catnip, one cats who like catnip will love. I didn’t realize it was a powder when I ordered it. There’s specific instructions not to let the cats ingest it. I had sprinkled some on the floor (as I usually do with regular catnip) so I had to sweep, vacuum and wash the floor to get it removed. They still came back to that spot repeatedly for several days afterward even with daily floor sweeping. Very good and strong, just not regular catnip.

well, my cats go bananas over this stuff--funny, i wondered how long i've been buying this, and it turns out that i have ordered it 11 times so far--12 right after i finish this review--my first can was ordered way back on january 21, 2019... amazingly enough, the first can i ordered cost $16.88, as has every other can--how many cat products are still the same price as they were SIX YEARS AGO!! (i wager that it is safe to say "no one has!"...but correct me if i'm wrong... it never ceases to amaze me every time i'm placing another order that the price is still the same--and the can hasn't gotten smaller, nor has the outstanding quality of their product diminished...my cats love it six years later as much as they did the very first time! i would buy anything that they put out for cats! my cats are just happy that their mom always has some on hand....so thanks guys!!

I have Four Senior Rescue kitties. Some enjoy catnip, some do not. KittiKrack is not catnip, but Silvervine which is closely related. It comes in a fine powder in a nice tin for storage. You only need to use very small doses to get a similar reaction to that of catnip. I have to say, my cats went absolutely Crazy for KittiKrack! As soon as I opened the package, I had four little faces watching me like hawks. I used feathers to give them each a small dose, and within a minute, my cats were high as a kite, playing and jumping around like kittens again! Even my cranky kits, who don't like catnip were writhing in ecstasy! The absolute best thing about KittiKrack is the fact that my 10 & 11 year old kitties, who have severe Arthritis pain, are feeling so much better and I'm seeing marked improvement both physically & mentally. We like this product so much that we sent tins of it to my parents' kitty and to my daughters cat...They reported back that their kitties love it and can't get enough!!! I highly recommend KittiKrack to all Kitty Parents who would like a great alternative!

My cat super loves this powder! I like how it comes in three foil envelopes (so the others stay fresh while you are using the open one). The one thing that I don't really like is that the envelopes are really hard to open, though - super strong ziplock means super freshness, but a little bit of super frustration in opening lol. I still highly recommend this product though. The interesting thing is that my cat is not interested in intact silver vine but she LOVES this powder.
