Best backpack
Wish they still made this version of the gamut honestly the best version of the bag by far. Everything about this bag is fantastic and full of features and comfort. I’ve had this bag for about a year and half and has been the best bag I’ve ever purchased

Everything I Could’ve Wished for 🎒
✅ Fits a 10.3” barrel, law folder, and a warcomp perfectly! There’s a TINY bit of extra space but I wouldn’t try to fit more than 21” total inches or it will be hard to zip/unzip and will poke out the bag✅ The bottom of the bag is WELL padded so it looks uniform and doesn’t poke to show the outline of what’s in your bag. This means your muzzle device, if barrel down, won’t be noticeable and is protected!!✅ No obvious branding visible! Very low key and the overall profile of the bag is very discrete! It holds its low profile shape well and gives off a very minimalist appearance. I don’t want it to draw attention or get stolen - I think this is about as good as it gets✅ Very comfortable straps and back material. The padding that rests against your back is not too hard - it’s a medium soft gel that is better than I imagined. I love that all of the extra strap material from shortening the straps comes with a Velcro retainer so you won’t have any straps flying around!!Overall incredible bag. I only mentioned the things that I love that I couldn’t find in other reviews, videos, etc… obviously there’s much more to love about this bag. I got the canopy green (on sale?) for $130 on here but it is definitely worth $200. One thought I had was, “WOW! They really though of everything and some without making it feel like overkill” only thing I’d change - I wish it was a darker green!!! My favorite color is olive drab 🫒

Updated: Great features, love the size but maybe I got a lemon?
First I would like to say that I love this backpack and all it's features. I have Dell 17" Precision laptop that I use for work and it fits perfectly (even with a little room to spare at the top and sides). I put a few things in it as soon as I got it and tried out the laptop sleeve but I haven't even left my office with it and found a hole in the outer panel. It was right where the expansion seam was sewn under the outer flap (best description I can give). I don't believe this backpack was used before I got it. Looked like it came straight from mfg so I don't know if this was just a lemon or what. I reordered the same backpack and will update my rating if it's not defective.Update 6-5-22: Replacement backpack didn't have any issues or holes. Very pleased with this backpack and can't wait to start using it. Also, in the meantime, I ordered the Heather Tarmac/Mustard Grass color of this backpack and the outer material is way different than the black version. The gray material is partially shiny and more slick feeling than the black one. It feels more like a waterproof material even though I'm not sure its any more waterproof.

Best backpack I’ve ever owned
I’ve owned this back pack for roughly 5 months and I use it everyday at my job as a nurse. The interior compartment has plenty of room for a lunch box laptop biohazard mask and stethoscope to give you an idea. The organization in the main compartment is also great the pens are mounted horizontally at the top which makes it easy to use. The other two zipper pockets hold a cell phone charger and pill bottles perfectly with space to spare. The exterior side pockets are a little snug for water bottles but they work, the hidden pockets underneath the side water bottle pockets have great organizationHidden compartment on the back of the back pack is a great pocket for concealed carry or water bladder.Construction is robust which adds weight but is worth it in my opinionThe sunglasses pocket is perfect and there is a keeper lanyard attached. The only con I’ve found is the exterior pocket is useless. I would have liked to see that deleted to save a little weight.

Nice pack, with some flaws
Bought this pack after watching a few youtube reviews praising it, with the only flaw being that the admin space behind the water bottle pouches is kind of small. Overall it's a good bag, but there are a few things wrong with it that have me already planning to replace it. I'm just listing flaws here -- everything else about the pack is awesome so far.1. The drawstring for the bottle pockets is two hunks of massive hard plastic on the *inside* of the pocket. Another review mentions this but I didn't realize just how huge and thick they are. See the photo. This dramatically reduces the bottle size you can accommodate. A standard 32oz Nalgene bottle won't fit even with the admin pocket entirely empty and the drawstring fully opened. I am seriously considering cutting the entire thing out with a razor and then hitting the fabric with seam tape. I really have a major problem with this, it's such a poor design decision I can't understand how it made it into production.2. The front to back depth of the front-most pocket is way too small. You can't really use the velcro or molle in that area for anything substantial without opening the covering flap, defeating the low-viz nature of the pack.3. If you're not using the back flap as a helmet carrier or whatever, there's no good way to stow the straps and they aren't removable.4. If the pack is somewhat full, the snaps used to secure the front panel from being pulled open constantly catch on the molle loops when trying to zip the panel up, making it a slow and somewhat irritating process of zipping the flap up while keeping the snap out of the way.5. As others have mentioned, the admin areas behind the bottle pockets are essentially worthless if you want to carry a bottle. You can fold up some spare cash and put it there along with a pen or pencil, but anything more and your bottle pouch volume is further reduced. The rest of the pack is pretty great. The fact that both sides of the entire CCW pocket are covered in loop material is awesome, as is the fact that the loop area in the front pocket is stitched in such a way that the molle there is still usable. I do not carry a laptop in this bag and I'm happy that the weird laptop suspension pocket thing is also velcroed in place and easy to remove. The main compartment is very spacious with that out of the way. The pack is comfortable, and while the waist belt is not load bearing, it's still good for stability when hiking or riding a bike or motorcycle.Overall I think the pack will more than hold me over long enough to find one I *really* like. Maybe Vertx even has a 3.0 in the works that addresses these shortcomings.
