This S-Pen works great with my phone. I have a Galaxy Note 10. I was skeptical because with my phone being older, I didn't think it would sync, but it did. I inserted the S-Pen and restarted my phone and it work perfectly.

These styluses that do not have Bluetooth work but does not connect to your phone. The little thing at the top that shows that your stylus is not in your phone won't go away when you put this one in. It won't let you use your camera with this or any of the Bluetooth type things you do with one of these. However you can still write on your screen with it if that's what your purpose is to need one of these.

I like the fact that it worked out for my wife's note 10.

I didn't see the previous replacement I ordered so got this one. It never connects, which I figured wasn't a Huge deal, as it still does all the things the original and last replacement did. But just discovered today after several months, it doesn't allow me to take photos while the phone is elsewhere. The pen doesn't do the click to take a photo. Probably because it never connects. Super sad face

If you lose your phone stylus, this does work.

I'm only giving 3 stars to catch your attention. This WILL work on the screen and take notes normally but WILL NOT connect for air actions like taking photos by clicking the pen. In other words, any writing and drawing WILL work (even though the phone still shows S Pen disconnected). Air actions (phone showing S Pen connected) will require the Bluetooth (not this item, the more expensive one).
